Im a Korean living in Canada and my grandparents lives in Daejeon. It's been a long time since I've been in Korea but Daejeon has always been the most memorable for me!
Interesting video! I'm one of locals. Exactly, i graduated from a high school in Gwan-Jeo(관저) and have been living in a town near Gwan-Jeo for all my life. It was fun to watch how my hometown was reflected on by foreigners.
Oh my gosh! I was randomly on Naver Maps today looking for a neighborhood to explore when I noticed the building in your video (4:51 brick building) I was so excited because ever since watching this video countless of times before moving to Korea, I always loved this neighborhood that you showed but never figured out where it was haha. I’m excited now. It’s such a cute area
I'm studying in Canada currently, but I used to live in 관저 예미지 which is in this video when I was in Korea. I wanted to watch some videos about Korean while chillin with my Chinese friend and I found this video. It made me soooo reminicent and I cried.😂 Thank you for this video!!!
Yes Daejeon is a nice place to live. You have to understand that most people in Daejeon do not like speaking Englishto foreigners. If you teach English in Daejeon do not work for a hagwon. The parents are very controlling and the childrenwill tell their parents how bad the teacher is. Always work for a university, public school, or at Korea International School. The people their are very understanding. If you go to an expat church. Always go to church in Seoul. When I went toOnnuri church four years ago there was about fifty people. Many foreigners were leaving Daejeon because the peoplewere not open-minded. The places that are most open-minded are Incheon, Seoul or its satellite cities, Pyeongtaek,Suwon, Osan, Busan, Changwon, or Gimhae. I guess Chuncheon is good too. Cheonan is a nice place to live and I found the people there nice. By the way never work for Clover English or I Love Clover English. The Korean wife is a bad person andher American husband is a prick name Eric Schneider. They accidentally paid someone's pay cheque into my bank accounttwo months later when I was in Icheon the art city. Their on Tokyo Jon's blacklist and these loser use CLIL which haveno value in learning English. After I left they lost 33 students in 2015. I had a good owner at Herald English Academy.I even got to hold a six month old baby girl from a student who brought her baby sister. She was cute and chubby. The school had movie night and good computer equipment. The city was not bad. Now they have light rail that goesto Seoul. Back then I had to take a bus that took 55 minutes. Yes in Korea, it is good to learn Korean.
souless architecture, dull and miserable looking overdeveloped neighbourhood for the average western european standards, for awesome, green and beautiful middle class districts, look at any UK city
Great sound track, especially the opening piano. Thanks much!!!

less trees
대전이란 도시 안에는 나무가 적을지 몰라도 주변엔 전부 산으로 둘려 쌓여있어서 나무 숫자가 셀 수 없이 많은 도시임.
