As a long time subscriber the filming and editing on this channel is Scorsese-like. The sunset segment was magnificent. I'm not sure this business class experience was anything to tell your Grandmother about, but you made it look good.
Beautiful scenery and videography. I had to smile to myself when you said the sun was setting - I thought ‘is the sun setting or are you travelling to the dark side of the earth?’ I hope the experience was as serene as it looks on TH-cam!
Excellent service with Edelweiss Business. My seat also was 17K from ZRH to YYC. On the flight back from YYC to FRA I had the Eurowings / now called Discover Airlines, was the absolute opposite. Both belongs to Lufthansa, but what e difference in niveau. Thanks Edelweiss!

I got swept away😉. Did you switch seats during your flight? Because I saw you taking footage from the left and the right side of the cabin.

We had Edelweiß Business in May 2022 and 2023 to and from maldives.... Qatar is much better, but Edelweiß was super on time. But could not convince me. In December we try turkish Business to Maldives.....😊
Surprised by the amount of space inside the A-340's cabin. From the outside does not look that spacious. I have heard some pilots think its a bit under-powered (even with 4 engines) maybe that's why Airbus are bringing out out a NEO version I think. The quality of the service or rather food makes it appear to be at best a sort of budget spin-off from Swiss-Air-Lufthansa.
This would be about $5k CAD, one way. In my view, not worth the money. The meals looked poor and the seat uncomfortable. Nice to see the scenery, but I would take a different flight.
Great video! I just booked my business class ticket for edelweis and hope I'll have a similar expierience. I recently flew business class with qatar airways in their Q-Suites so I'm a bit spoiled :) Did you get noise cancelling headphones on this flight?

I flew Edelweiss 2 years ago to Turkey... not a nice experience. Ok, it was economy and Edelweiss is a charter airline. But still, they are not trying very hard. And the average age of their aircrafts says it all.
What was the weather like on most days when you were there? Was the short bursts of downpours or did it rain for most of the day? I love your channel. It's the best one out there!
This thought always piqued my interest.. how come commercial planes are as old as 20 years or more, whereas our own private cars needs to be replaced with new ones every 5 years or even lesser for some... maybe somebody can enlighten me on this.

Better turkish airlines or emirates. Turkish airlines has the best food ever and emirates has the best service.
