@@lfp531 gz actually my least favorite of all of them. can't stand the stop and go of hitting the building and having to wait. hitting the scoop and having to select multiple things, hitting the magnet grab thing by the bridge and having to wait. @@jeroensmith2143 top to bottom I think JP is one of the best Sterns period. but as far as play, I can play Jaws for hours. the only other elwin stern I could play for hours is maybe IMDN or his bond.
This is one Elwin where i kind off like the Pro more than the Premium. And i am not dissapointed about the fact that the SHARK does not eat the ball! I am more dissapointed about how they designed and programmed the boat upper playfield! They could have added a physical multiball lock there!
Hey Karl, Did you do any tuning on the Reel shot? The Jaws that I play frequently has the reel throw it into either the wall that guides the right ramp, above the pop bumper, or it throws it into the pop bumper. Also how did you get the fishing reel and steering wheel to spin so smoothly?
I didn't have to tune this one but have heard of the issue before and assisted a friend out remotely with his. It's just a minor bend of the reel ball guide on the left hand side to fix it. As for spinning, make sure the locknut on the top isn't ultra tight. The plastic should be able to wiggle and tilt, then add just a dab of oil to the bearings.
Every completed mode increases the base machete by 1x. In addition, you can continue to complete drop banks to increase it by an additional 1x when lit, Pippet can increase it by 1x, and there's also a wheel award for a one-time 3x increase. Plenty of opportunities to boost it high!
Hey Karl, what angle do you set your playfield's at before you start adjusting on a per game basis? Do you have a preferred playfield angle for modern stern's? Also, what's a good amount of time to practice pinball every day before you hit diminishing returns? 1 hour? 3 hours? 5?
I never really check what level I'm at. I'll play a game to determine where I feel it should be. Any amount is fine but don't burn out by playing too much. The stopping point is when you start missing everything!
@@Vectrex-pi5ib Probably a well lubricated spinner... that would make it a lot easier to make progress in the bounty hunts. I usually choose mako shark and it takes at least 3 good rips and a few incidental to make 80 spins. This player is so accurate with his shots he'd get them in no time, all the same
The Jaws pinball I played on location wasn't even updated to the latest code, so I had to convince them to do that and it took an hour and a half to update the game. Even when it did, I tried to get the 4th of July challenge badge and I played it and got the requirements multiple times but it wouldn't unlock for me. This really made me angry because this was the one time I had a chance to get that badge and now I have to wait till next year because Stern's servers didn't recognise it!
I own all the Elwins and Jaws is my fav by far. feels so good I can play it for hours.
Better than Godzilla? 😮

Played Jaws today and must say, I liked it a lot!
What causes your bonus to be multiplied?

Next level!
16:20 How Did you get your machete at 7X. Normally when you put down your drop targets, the machete is at 2X

If this stream doesn’t showcase how absolutely amazing Jaws is, I don’t know what will. Easily Keith’s best game. Godzilla has been dethroned.
I don't know if you take requests, but could you please play the weird al pinball game? It's called Weird Al's Museum of Natural Hilarity!
57:42 - Unless there is a multiplier of some sort, then that Spinner is nuts and ought to be calibrated. 80 spins in a single shot?
Ok, at 1:14:15 it is hit for 92 spins. That is just busted.
I love how well the spinner spins. It spins so much compared to Godzilla.
