      @Vanos Diego I’m sorry to break it to you man but they aren’t regular people, they are humans yes but their social status is at a point where no matter how hard you try, most ppl including yourself will put them on a pedestal. When you see a celebrity you would ask for a picture right? You put them on a pedestal. You follow a celebrity on social media or talk about them because they sing or you like movies they are in right? You put them on a pedestal. The list goes on forever, It’s just the sad truth

      @@queenjazmine9393 I never said it brought happiness. It brings comfort and stability though, which can increase a person’s chances of happiness. Mental health problems? You’re rich enough to afford medication and therapy for however long you want. You have access to do the things you love more than a poor person can as well, so forgive me if I don’t want people to tell me that I’m “lucky” because I don’t live in luxury. Money doesn’t buy happiness, but it sure as hell gives someone more access to it.

      debatable. social media has definitely made fame a new game (rhymed lol couldn't help myself). but this has always been fame. it is by definition a state of over exposure and that has always come with threats to safety. not just in ones own head but outside of themselves. like fans had long been murdering, stalking, traumatising and attacking celebrities before twitter and instagram.
      obviously as time has gone on and pop culture has become more popular. the pressure has grown and the ways of us connecting with celebrities has changed. i would say we really saw a huge shift overall, not just with the biggest celebrities. but when we saw more influencers was the 2000s. with the rise of the beginnings of social media and the media. and that's where alot of these celebrities in this video are from. they debuted in that era. nowadays anyone can get a taste of fame. it has more extreme ups and downs. one tiktok can go viral and you can gain a million followers in a day. this can hand you so many amazing opportunities but can also ruin all of them.

    • @AnjuliMack
      @AnjuliMack 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      @@go-gettercircle9160 Of course there are. But my point is in people idolizing a lifestyle that isn't what they actually think it is. I have been to Nepal on Mount Everest and met kids that are happier with a kaleidoscope then some kids are with an iphone on this side of the world. Once you have your needs met of food/roof over head/health etc the happiness you stand to gain with money over a certain point is minimal to none.

    Most people think being famous is a DREAM. but for some people, it’s not. Maybe some of these celebrities just wanted to do their passion. Like singers love singing, but they might not wanna be famous, they just wanna be normal. Some people didn’t actually wanna become famous. They just loved that hobby so much, they wanted it to become a job. Even though singers are pretty famous. They are human too, maybe they do not wanna be surrounded by paparazzi. Being famous may be hard for some people, but they are sharing their opinions. Some people enjoy being famous, some people don’t. And that’s okay! It’s an opinion, everyone has an opinion.

    Think Britney Spears was a big miss for this type of video. She was the most photographed and sought after figure since Princess Diana before she was put into a conservatorship against her will. Since being put into a conservatorship (in 2008) her security team increased and her life changed drastically where it was managed by lawyers, conservators, judges and security on a continuous basis, creating a strict regime that made it difficult and no where near as profitable as it once was to chase and hound Britney. She spoke about her struggles with fame and how she copes with it all throughout her career, both before and after the conservatorship too.
    Her 2006 'Dateline' interview and 2008 documentary, 'For The Record' are great references.

    gosh this makes me so sad. a lot of people don’t understand that celebrities have it rough too and instead think they have everything they’d ever need like money, love and fam but that doesnt mean they’re happy. what makes it even worse is that they are not allowed to complain about their lives in the slightest bit because there will always be people coming at them saying they should be grateful for everything they have just because a lot of people strive to be like them but never get the chance. although this is true, we gotta recognise that they go through so much every that we may not be able to see or understand and thats why we all gotta be a lil nicer sometimes

When you stop, you will never able to feel that again, you will feel depressed and you still wants to continue what you do, till you are old! I wish interviewers asked good questions not just cheesy ones like “how do you deal with fame.” Because I am actually curious about the specifics of being a celeb, like what about when you have to get a cell phone or sign up for something that requires your social security number? I imagine someone like Taylor Swift doesn’t just give out sensitive info like that willy nilly to some AT&T worker.. at the same time, she has to get a phone plan like everyone else. What about getting a passport? What about houses/deeds/ mortgages… that type of stuff like deeds is publicly listed… you can just find out who owns a property… but there is the problem of stalkers.. so do they have a way to get taken off those lists? Or do they just own no property in their own name? Or they just deal with it? Every interviewer asks these same bad questions “How do you feel about it all” and we learn nothing from corny questions like that. ASK REAL QUESTIONS. Like what is it actually like.. You wake up in the morning and you are Taylor
    Swift. Does your security live there with you? Do they have shifts? If you don’t have coffee do you just get in the car and go get some? Or you call someone to take you? All the cave people are just like “celebritiesarepeopotoo” like yeah we know they are people… but what is it actually like..

The public takes it so personal at another level and pushes you to break. How could you leave and people yell and flash photos like Taylor Swift said how many years can I handle this? That hit me the hardest and she said you have to make yourself get used to it be it’s hard. It’s all fantasy the public wants to be part of and they can’t have it and are a part of it by being next to you. It’s really crazy what they deal with. Me personally, I want to make music and perform at massive stadiums, but I'm surprisingly introverted, painfully shy and very private so I wouldn't want what comes with it.

Yes they understand what it means to be famous, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a private life.. Fans tend to have the mentality of "they asked for this, or they had it coming" and in a way yes, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a life outside of being famous, where they can just relax with friends and family.. everyone deserves that.. Stop putting celebrities on a platform they can't live up to, ya know? Like I said.. We're all HUMAN!

    DAMN!! I don't wanna be famous. I wanna be rich. At least then I can have all the benefits of being rich and famous without the drawbacks. I don't need the attention.if I don't wanna deal with anyone I don't have to.I can have millions of dollers have nice cars and homes, walk outside by myself and nobody knows who I am. It's perfect.
