Today I visited Raju Champaan meat house in Andheri, Mumbai and I was transported to Champaran in Bihar. I tasted the Bihar special Champaran mutton, aka Ahuna mutton, cooked over coal in an earthen pot ( Matka)
The taste is so rustic, unlike any other mutton curry I have had. For every mutton lover out there, I recommend you visit here at least once!

A collab much needed for food
I live in MIDC Andheri east. This place is 5 minutes walking distance from my home and next to this shop there is a vegetable market. When the chef cooks the mutton.... While passing by to buy vegetables from the market I turn around because of the authentic, earthy and mesmerizing smell of the mutton curry and buy the Ahuna mutton with the pot and take it home 🙂

Great recommendation. Found the place listed on Zomato. The price looks good (I am assuming it is for the weight of raw mutton used to prepare the dish). Mutton 250g - Rs.300 ; 600g - Rs.600, etc.

Today i visited this place , But the owner Rahul is so egoist that he doesn't even replies properly even after asking 5 times related to menu, other factor the mutton wasn't cooked properly & he was giving preference to his existing customers. i am really disappointed & will never this place again not recommend anyone else...

Hi Kunal, did you do this vlog yesterday? Wow... Btw Kurmure is the in thing with Champaran meat. I generally try to replicate dishes and tried replicating this one using BMH masala without trying original and to be honest somehow i did not like it.
I wish to try autuentic next time tp compare what i made. 😂 Tuanks for the coverage bhai.
