Your advice is so wise. I obtained my first 200hr Hatha Yoga certificate 10 years ago. This 200hr course was just the beginning it is a foundation that must be built on every year. For the first 5 years I taught regularly free classes to my local community 3 times a week, however the greatest gift for me was that those that came to practice with me encouraged me through their enthusiasm to continue my training and to make it a life practice. My second greatest joy is my ongoing learning from the great Yogic texts such as Patanjali Sutras - there are so many gifts in this text.. I have this year started in my own personal practice the Ashtanga Primary which I love the discipline and structure. Yoga has so much to offer as a tool for life unfortunately the West has diluted the practice to just exercise.
Thank you for your comment. I completely agree. Teaching is a practice and it has to be refined every time. Thank you for your understanding. Wish you the best...
Thanku so much ive just completed my training and want to start the classes. Uy was confused but was confused as I think m not perfect right now and I tend to make mistakes but thats perfecrly fine as u reminded me that its only practice that makes one perfect so i just have to push myself forward and start taking classes m also taking my first class for free tysm ❤❤
I would like to called yoga teacher training programs as Yoga foundation course. Cuz everyone is trying to become a teacher not a practitioner. Moreover without experiencing the practices one cannot teach. One should know well about which practice what it does to your body. Apart from from the text books and learning from the ttc courses, observation from the body is important to teach to someone. Only then he or she will be able to understand what is going on in the person infront of you. It doesnt mean you will learn through teaching, learn from the experiencing the own practice. You will be able to teach after ttc courses but you will not be able to give the experiences of what it does to your body until you experience in your body. Only if your foundation is good you will be able to give right foundtion to someone.
Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you. Yoga Training is definitely a foundation. There is no doubt that this foundation can get stronger if one starts the journey of practising and teaching... Teaching is not because the person knows a lot, but because he/she becomes a better student by trying to teach others. It also helps in bringing more clarity to what she/he knows.
@@SamyakYoga The foundation gets stronger if one starts practising and experiencing not by teaching. Moreover teaching has to be not by knowing many things, its by experiencing a lot I would say.
If you want to become a Yoga Teacher, take a Yoga Teacher Training. If you specifically want to teach Kids, you can check out Kids Yoga Teacher Training courses 😍🙏🏻
