What a good video! I have just finished the application for Polimi Architecture Design, and your video let me experience the feeling of studying in this school.
Hi, I would love to know how it went and would love it even more if you talked to me about your admission process, I want to apply there in architectural design as well.
Hi! How did you not chose NABA for design? I'm struggling about which university has the most ideal digital design course. Poli and Naba are definetely two options but, holy, the indecision
Hahaha, one decision for me: tuition. Design is not about where you go but about what you design. So spending more money won't necessarily get you where you want to go. Politecnico is very affordable. But if money is not an issue, live your best life!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😜
Hi , thank you for your insight ! I'm planning to do an Erasmus there next year however i don't really speak Italian yet (i plan to learn it before i go), do you think it is manageable with basic Italian skills?
Yes, definitely manageable! However, I would highly recommend studying as much as you can because there are many official docs you need to fill out that will be in Italian. Plus it makes it so much easier being able to say exactly what you mean. Cheers!
Please make a video on how was the admission test for designing at Politecnico di Milano i wanna study fashion design there please make a video on that please
Hi Anindita, for me I did not have to take an admission test. However I have a friend in fashion, I will see what he says. DM me on insta some questions or things you are interested in about the program. 😀
Yes, I'm at the Bovisa campus! There are two main places: Chinese and Italian. Which can get boring after awhile. But, luckily there is a grocery store close to campus where we go sometimes to buy lunch or snacks. Or when the bar is super packed and we want to POP A BOTTLE!
Hi! I am planning to apply here for architecture. It says it is an English taught course but do I have to know any Italian prior? Also, are there many students there that speak English? (will I feel lonely/ isolated?)
Ciao! Yes, your course will be in English. However, I would suggest learning Italian before coming because you will need it. I was learning before I came and still felt like I needed more. There are many documents that you will fill out when you get here and things outside of school that will require some knowledge of Italian. Yes, many students speak English and making friends is the easiest thing you can do at Polimi, everyone is very friendly. :)
I highly recommend using N26 or a credit card. My debit cards don’t work here. You will need to get a permesso di soggiorno which can take months before you can get a bank account.
Hi!!! Your course is the MID? Master in Interior Design? If it’s yes, the course in Italian or in English? I want to go to SPD to do this course, but i’m afraid of the English one wont’t be to good as the Italian one
it's just a question of whether you want the challenge of learning in another language. Trust me it's already a challenge trying to live life outside of school in your second language.
Ciao! Please refer to the list of programs in the bachelor's. It will tell you what language it is in. :) www.polimi.it/en/programmes/laurea-equivalent-to-bachelor-of-science/
Ciao, per me non ho fatto un test di ammissione. 😭 Non sono sicuro se è stato a causa del tempo in cui ho fatto domanda o non ne avevo bisogno per il mio programma specifico.
Ciao Arshia! I don't believe the bachelors degree is in English for the fashion course. :/ However, I will be having a video with a fashion design student soon and I will ask.
My advice would be to start working on your portfolio if you haven’t yet. It always takes time to create a portfolio that really represents what you want to say so give yourself enough time to work on it. Also, I recommend working on projects outside of class. This is what’s going to separate you from your classmates and competition.
Hi.. my daughter wants to pursue visual and communication design and/or product design for her Bachelor's. Would you recommend it for the program? She of course does not know Italian at all.
Hello! I would definitely recommend the program! She will learn and develop many technical skills necessary for a design career. The biggest question is does your daughter prefer a more technical approach or experimental? Polimi is very technical when it comes to design. She will need to learn some Italian even if she is taking an English taught course.
Hello, I am a German Citizen who graduated from a Turkish high school. I got a 1370 SAT but I dont have IELTS yet. Can I still be accepted to the university with the condition of providing a valid IELTS result afterwards?
When I applied I submitted all my documents at the same time. Since my undergraduate was taught in English I provided that verification at the time of my application. Im not sure if you are able to apply without it but I would complete the IELTS as soon as possible to make your application complete. I would contact the school to confirm
I mean I just want to know how the application process work, how to get a scholarship if in case possible, what are eligible criteria to get into bachelor studies in English language
