I think what most people are missing is that each character is their own person and has their own abilities/power level. It's not as simple as right hands = other right hands. Kat has conqueror's haki because of his situation and role in Big Moms crew where he feels he has to protect his family members, while King doesn't because he's just following Kaido and has no desire to be the strongest (his willpower is probably broken because he's the last of his kind too). Ben Beckman was probably already a powerful pirate before meeting Shanks and now he's a right hand, but could easily be captain of his own crew if not for his interpersonal relationship and bond with Shanks. Point is, they all have their own backstory and powers. Greenbull has his own story which got him to this point, being an admiral is irrelevant to his power scaling other than the fact we know he's really strong off rip. If he wasn't an admiral, he would be close to a yonko level pirate, mihawk level minimum. Each character's power only grows as the series progresses, so having the admirals as the final or close to final villains says a lot about how powerful they are/will be. Akainu is a different beast altogether and is CLEARLY yonko level already. The haki blooming and awakening he went through in his fight with Aokiji will pay dividends later in the series.

A blast breath can desintegrate several mountains, most people couldnt survive the attack. Only STUDS can tank it, and marco tanked it with phoenix flames. Luffy and Oden with Haki. Raizo just bounced it back with its DF.
Luffy is a zoan. He can take hits and come back. The same way for Kaido, who constantly keeps his conquerors haki up to maintain his crazy defense. A paramecia would be smarter and block those moves. Luffy was so careless post awakening he was taking hits he probably could have just dodged.
I think it's more of a conqueror flex. Luffy been getting OHKO by every other Yonkou move up until this point. In vice versa, Yonkou have taken no damage by normal means. To me that argument, the feat that Luffy can tank a blast breath is a testament to him being a conqueror. If it was his devil fruit he would've mentioned it like he did with Big Ma's Indra.
Luffy didn't have zoan buff until awakening. This can be seen from how his fruit effected him from a child. He is Garp's grandson and has the natural strength and grit to go along with that.

He got folded. His devil fruit literally healing any damage he takes as long as his stamina holds up, is what allows him to hold his own even in extremely difficult situations. But once his healing ran out, he was full of wounds, sitting on the floor exhausted. Oda only made him stop fighting and "pass the torch" before he had a chance to fall uncouncious, so he could save face. But unless they gave him time to rest, he was already done.

I always interpreted the akainu finding the one piece in one year as a statement on if he just up and quit the marines and used his go gettem attitude to just burn through the new world indiscriminately. Mind you the whole story so far has only taken like 2 and a half years

This Statement is given way to many weight imo. It proves that Akainu would be capable of defeating the yonko. But there is no way he would end the Story in a year thats obviously unacurate. Oda can't even predict how Long the Arc He currently draws will Take how would He accurately guess how Long it would Take to publish Akainu piece.... This Statement only meant If Luffy was as strong as Akainu then one piece would be boring. Thats all He Said

It’s not about Luffy or, Oda’s literally saying Akainu is too strong for a story to last over a year so start small. For reference at this point a standard arc was about 1.5-2 years.
I think what most people are missing is that each character is their own person and has their own abilities/power level. It's not as simple as right hands = other right hands. Kat has conqueror's haki because of his situation and role in Big Moms crew where he feels he has to protect his family members, while King doesn't because he's just following Kaido and has no desire to be the strongest (his willpower is probably broken because he's the last of his kind too). Ben Beckman was probably already a powerful pirate before meeting Shanks and now he's a right hand, but could easily be captain of his own crew if not for his interpersonal relationship and bond with Shanks. Point is, they all have their own backstory and powers. Greenbull has his own story which got him to this point, being an admiral is irrelevant to his power scaling other than the fact we know he's really strong off rip. If he wasn't an admiral, he would be close to a yonko level pirate, mihawk level minimum. Each character's power only grows as the series progresses, so having the admirals as the final or close to final villains says a lot about how powerful they are/will be. Akainu is a different beast altogether and is CLEARLY yonko level already. The haki blooming and awakening he went through in his fight with Aokiji will pay dividends later in the series.

A blast breath can desintegrate several mountains, most people couldnt survive the attack. Only STUDS can tank it, and marco tanked it with phoenix flames. Luffy and Oden with Haki. Raizo just bounced it back with its DF.

Luffy is a zoan. He can take hits and come back. The same way for Kaido, who constantly keeps his conquerors haki up to maintain his crazy defense. A paramecia would be smarter and block those moves. Luffy was so careless post awakening he was taking hits he probably could have just dodged.
I think it's more of a conqueror flex. Luffy been getting OHKO by every other Yonkou move up until this point. In vice versa, Yonkou have taken no damage by normal means. To me that argument, the feat that Luffy can tank a blast breath is a testament to him being a conqueror. If it was his devil fruit he would've mentioned it like he did with Big Ma's Indra.
Luffy didn't have zoan buff until awakening. This can be seen from how his fruit effected him from a child. He is Garp's grandson and has the natural strength and grit to go along with that.

He got folded. His devil fruit literally healing any damage he takes as long as his stamina holds up, is what allows him to hold his own even in extremely difficult situations.
But once his healing ran out, he was full of wounds, sitting on the floor exhausted. Oda only made him stop fighting and "pass the torch" before he had a chance to fall uncouncious, so he could save face. But unless they gave him time to rest, he was already done.

Greenbull abilities might work like Big Mam fruit where he uses the nutrients from other living beings to power himself up which might explain how he was able to overpower two commanders or it could be this generation of admirals are much stronger than the last or Whitebeard being the strongest Yonko by a margin where even sick he was beating Admirals cause there's no way that I can see any 1st commander being low diffed by Admirals
