This is my friends business and I can’t stress how much effort she puts into this business. Since opening the boxes have not changed, incredible presentation and just great quality food. I went for the afternoon tea for my parents in January and it was amazing.
I have two things to say! 1. I'm sorry that you have to see all these disgusting men in these comments talking about your friend like she's an object, its utterly foul. 2. The food looks absolutely DIVINE, but unfortunately I cannot find the name Scranny McPhee anywhere... I have a feeling maybe Danny has not released the real business name in order to keep it anonymous so she doesnt get too overwhelmed with orders?

That's not food that's art! Made with such love, care and attention. I don't know how she makes any profit from these boxes. I'm sure there is cheaper recycled packaging elsewhere. Danny? This has to go top of your list!
This market has to collapse sooner or later.. It took over during covid and now there's so many people doing it who went from what this lady is doing to then getting a shop... I'm not sure that many people have spare cash to buy such things... It's nice to get a treat now and then but splashing out such a large amount of money for such things surely isn't going to be affordable by average Joe when the electric bill jumps another 50% later this year.

Just gotta be local ish for a nice day out in the country on a fine day. There must be numerous beauty spots around that locale. Saves you the grind of prepping or shopping. Looks quality.
Danny them two girls need a medal for producing such a masterpiece in food I'm gob smacked how they produce such quality home made food for what I think is truly amazing and what a setting I hope they grow and do well they actually deserve it and thank you for finding this gem for all of us
This brings a tear to my eye.. I was born & raised in Beverley, 20 odd miles from here, and spent many Summer days and nights getting up to ALL sorts in this beautiful countryside. It certainly can be confusing, a maze of little roads and who knows how many tiny villages and farms. The local produce, as you can see and taste, is second to none. What a sweet voice the lady has. God's own county. Nice one Danny. 🌟❤️👍
Best presented food I've ever seen, perfect. The fact they make it themselves from locally sourced goods and from the garden is incredible. The first place I've seen which is almost too good. Hope they make profit.... They deserve it 100%
I used to work in a quite a few different restaurants. Never have I seen the detail, vision, and execution of a beautiful take out box as those created by these women. Immaculate work for sure.

I was a little worried about the prices until I saw the food and how much there was. Absolutely would make a lovely picnic like Danny said! And your mum sounds lovely, even making sure to mention your health too 💙 Easy to see why Danny’s such a friendly guy to everyone

I’ve had the pleasure of tasting a few of these grazing boxes. They are definitely made for more than one person. I even had a valentines box from Scranny Mcphee’s with a bottle of pink Prosecco in, a wonderful additional treat. The idea’s that this young lady comes up with are amazing. This has to be the best episode for me so far. I was about to ask where Scranny McPhees is until I saw a comment below. Born in York and living in U.S. the past 50 years I thought I recognized the railway crossing and brief clip of Kirkham Abbey. My sister and I were born in a maternity home in Westow over 70 years ago. I'd love to be able to visit here and try Scanny's food, it looks marvelous!

You couldn't ask for more than that a tranquil spot with the bird's chirping and good country fresh air. I loved salad cream sandwiches to and jam and also red and brown sauce sandwiches.A real banquet Danny, a 20 out of 20 for me.

For me, the dessert box was the stand out winner, but I'd be a bit partial to a black pudding sausage roll. And (I know I shouldn't say this), but she was a complete sweetie too.

My tummy hurts from eating too much good food in my mind watching you. It was lovely seeing all the wild white clover in the yard. Here in the states our yards are treated with so much pesticide and herbicides that all the natural plants are gone and all the green grass lawns look the same. I loved making clover chains as a child!
How good is that. This is in a long way the best take-away I have seen on your show. It all looks fresh, natural, diverse, flavourful and delicious. Out in the countryside on a nice sunny day. Magic. You'll bring me over from Australia to check this out.

That's astounding. I think you let them down here Danny, the way you noticeably enjoyed those boxes makes me think you should introduce a new score for those exceptional places such as this. Spinal Taps Amp went to 11 - so should your scores for exceptional quality :-) All other 10s pale into insignificance compared to this. The care and the quality put into these boxes is apparent.
I’ve been meaning to watch this video for ages, and as much as I enjoy your reviews of regular takeaway food (burgers, fish and chips, pizza etc), there is a lot to be said for people knocking out amazing fresh food from their own homes. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen you look so happy, amazed and contented than you obviously were in this video. Scranny McPhee deserves every single bit of success, if this video is anything to go by. It’s a shame that you couldn’t have gone down the Spinal Tap route and given her a heavenly 11 😁👍
If you ever get tired of doing food reviews, I would GLADLY watch videos of you driving through the British countryside. I honestly had no idea that England was so beautiful.
It is beautiful once you get out of the run down dirty towns and cities plagued by crime and drug use, there is some very nice places with stunning scenery not too far from the jungle in some cases.
Some lovely places here, I've been to the Lake District and Peak District many times and the scenery in both places is gorgeous. Yorkshire Dales is another lovely area. As above reply said, a lot of towns and cities here are dangerous places that you don't want to step foot in, but the countryside can be beautiful

This is the best Take Out that's been shown on this Channel. It's got absolutely everything and then more. She needs to get into London and start a business. Fantastic for afternoon teas at the office, home, outdoors, whilst visiting etc. It would make the best of gifts, for any occasion and any time. Who wouldn't want that instead of a box of chocolates or a bunch of flowers? I haven't seen anything so well put together and with the best looking foods. Well done.

Here in the states our yards are treated with so much pesticide and herbicides that all the natural plants are gone and all the green grass lawns look the same. I loved making clover chains as a child!

I’ve been meaning to watch this video for ages, and as much as I enjoy your reviews of regular takeaway food (burgers, fish and chips, pizza etc), there is a lot to be said for people knocking out amazing fresh food from their own homes. I don’t think that I’ve ever seen you look so happy, amazed and contented than you obviously were in this video. Scranny McPhee deserves every single bit of success, if this video is anything to go by. It’s a shame that you couldn’t have gone down the Spinal Tap route and given her a heavenly 11 😁👍

It is beautiful once you get out of the run down dirty towns and cities plagued by
crime and drug use, there is some very nice places with stunning scenery not too
far from the jungle in some cases.

Some lovely places here, I've been to the Lake District and Peak District many times and the scenery in both places is gorgeous. Yorkshire Dales is another lovely area. As above reply said, a lot of towns and cities here are dangerous places that you don't want to step foot in, but the countryside can be beautiful

This is the best Take Out that's been shown on this Channel. It's got absolutely everything and then more. She needs to get into London and start a business. Fantastic for afternoon teas at the office, home, outdoors, whilst visiting etc. It would make the best of gifts, for any occasion and any time. Who wouldn't want that instead of a box of chocolates or a bunch of flowers?

Oh my! You were making my mouth water. The quality of the pastry was so apparent with how flaky it appeared. Those local cheeses and meats, Wow! Definitely deserved a score higher than 10. With the setting, the great service and food. Makes me want to take another trip across the pond.

All of that looked delicious but I'd be quite happy to have a stuffed Yorkshire pudding, and a couple of slices of well buttered toast with lemon curd or a couple of slices of buttered lemon drizzle cake.
