Opens with bergamot and clary sage with rosemary hint. Geranium takes place as it progresses. Takes a minty soapy vibe. At times it will remind you of the original. But it's mostly a refined version of profumo.
All the other reviews I've seen say it's basically profumo in a new bottle. I haven't heard anyone say it smells like the original till now. Now I'm confused because the original and profumo don't smell the same, same DNA, different smell.
Profumo has always been as similar to the original as possible, only smokier, deeper and sillage. The perfume version is weaker than Profumo and you can feel it from the start. It doesn’t have that depth and magic. Longevity is less, and the price is higher than before.
I liked the OG Acqua di Gio, but it didn't blow my mind. In fact, I almost prefer dupes such as 360 Red or Paris Hilton Just Me over the current formulation that was gifted to me...especially for the money. I've looked at Acqua di Gio and like it just fine...yeah, but I don't have an emotional ties to this scent, so it's a pass for me. However, if I wore the original...would very likely be sitting on my shelf right now. C'est la vie. Enjoyed.
I loved the original, i had a bottle of the og from the first formulation and it honestly smelled nothing like the profondo I just sampled. I might try a sample of the modern fornula because i think the last bit of my old bottle went bad.
You condensed my (and the whole community I believe) thoughts about the lack of concentration advertising and watering down-over-the-years, two of the biggest and modern problems with the industry that she, unfortunatelly, doesn't give a s****. Thanks for that, I feel represented after this video.

I remember loving the OG and the current formulation is ok enough. Should get my nose on the one. Thanks for the well done review.
Thanks for watching!

Great video and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night

it's been a while since I've smelled Profumo, but this smells very close to the original to me, not too different.
This smells really close to Profumo in the opening, and it gets closer to the OG from the mid to the drydown

@@АлександрНечипоренко-и4эbeing lighter doesn’t mean it’s weaker. That lighter/airy feel is intentional to evoke a certain feel from the notes.

I wanted the aqua notes, but the pachoulli would not go away. I wish I had seen that as an ingredient.

At the opening, it reminded me of essenza. Towards the dry-down, it gets a lot closer to profumo
The Parfum craze is over, now it's time for the Elixirs!

You’re comparing Parfum with the OG.. Isn’t this supposed to be a reincarnation of Profumo ??
Please announce it as Acqua di "Dshow" instead of "Gio". It's from the word Giorgio.
well if I speak to an Italian speaker, I will.
Plot twist: adg parfum is just the old formula of adg edt. They're stronger.
"Adg edt these days smells watered down" 😬😬😬😬
Nonsense
