Spot on again Phil. I remember that tunnel section well, dreading that we would encounter a boat looking to come in the opposite direction! It was very much more overgrown in August...such are the joys of narrowboating....really enjoying your trip.🍷🍷
Thank you. You will almost always meet other boats going through there.
We got lucky when we passed through...🍷🍷
Very relaxing to watch with your lovely music. Thanks Phil.
Another great one. Keep 'em coming. Especially enjoy your descriptive bits. Is that a Somerset/Devon accent?
I'm originally from Cornwall but my accent is probably more Oxfordshire these days.
Another lovely calming vlog - thank you so much
I dig the theme tune
Another gentle cruise, love to see you tripping along, where to you buy your mushrooms ?
Tesco's mostly ;-)
Have you ever seen a UFO in the dark sky's of night ?!?!?
Yes I saw two, many years ago. I will describe it in a vlog one day...
Love the music. You always show the most beautiful scenery. Question: do you have any interesting stories about unusual or strange phenomena that you have seen - the little saucer makes me wonder.
I do have a couple, perhaps I will vlog about them one day...
They are not all the Gray's .
Very nice tour. Is it not required that towpaths might actually allow a horse to pull a boat? Unless I misread the images, at that marina on the left, a rope would have a difficult time maneuvering the signs and posts across the bridge.
There are a few exceptions but horses are not allowed on towpaths anymore.
@@NarrowboatJourneys Thanks. The things we don't know....
It's 6am and I can't sleep so watching again. It must be a bit of a nightmare going through the old tunnel section at busy times of the year. I liked the new ufo animation.
Thank you. Unfortunately the green screen didn't work too well. I usually go through the tunnel section at off-peak times, so not too bad.
Very relaxing but what has happened to letting the cats out. I miss that bit. 😁
There was a dog on the towpath so I didn't let them out right away.
@@NarrowboatJourneys I all so love to hear your Cats Meow, they are so cute, I miss my Kitty's meow!!
I have info maps on the canals with pubs & shops supermarkets petrol stations. I will send them to you (they are fee no charge ) by email, they are on pdf format but there is no email address on youtube so can you add it on.donald
Thank you Donald, that's a very kind offer but I really don't need them. I have access to plenty of information.
Thanks Phil, another interesting vlog :) How far have you got on your cruise? You're obviously posting these from a few weeks back. What direction have you taken?
Hi Ronnie, I'm currently near Rugby, on the North Oxford canal.
Wow. Ufos are back...very brazen to make such a close call.
Hi - I thought I had made a request as to whether you would be interested in some one to one navigational tuition. I do not seem to have got a response - so can you let me know thks
Hi Mark, sorry but no I don't do that.
Flamin' Murgons!
They're getting bolder!
Send in the giant sparrows.
