@@chasingmustangs after trying that, still had idle hang wouldn’t drop to 750rpm. did a smoke test and smoke came out of the tps which i ordered but also out of the throttle body linkage. is that due to the tps or is smoke supposed to come out of the linkage?
If you have a stock computer with stock configuration, yes. If you have an eliminator chip, no. The company that provided the eliminator or replacement ECU should provide the base idle reset instructions.
Thanks for all the videos on the 95 GT. I am going through everything and your how to videos are a HUGE help!
Thanks for the how to , I did this on my 95 worked perfect 👍🏼 .
At what point was the iac reconnected?
@@faizb.6873 at the last step.
quick question, at what point did you reconnect the IAC?

@@chasingmustangsbefore or after disconnecting battery for 15 mins ?

The TPS should not leak smoke. Is your throttle blade loose? Are you sure you are looking at tps and not idle air control valve?
did u connect the IAC valve back up while still running?
Yes
Did you reconnect the IAC after the final computer reset? I didn't catch exactly when
When did you reconnect the iac
Alright so mine is a supercharged cobra, tuned and all the jazz. Will this trick work for mine? (Idling high)

When I disconnected the IAC my engine won’t stay running long enough to adjust the tb.
Back out the idle screw about two turns and then disconnect the IAC.
Thank you so much for getting back to me, I will try it.
I adjusted mine, but the lowest idle it would go to is 900, what could cause that?
You need to adjust the throttle screw on the throttle body. There should be some blue paint on throttle screw that should guide you.
Thanks!@chasingmustangs
You are not telling us what you are doing to lower the idle???
There is a bleeder screw on the throttlebody, back out to increase rpms
Rental? Where and how much. Lol
