E46 BMW touring 330 6MT swap walk around.

We’ve got James’s new to him E46 wagon in the shop for an inspection and look over.
The car is previously swapped with a 330 (M54B30) engine and accompanying 6 speed manual transmission.
Major concerns are possible overheating situation due to a coolant leak.
Minor concerns are just general heath of components and the swap as a whole.
Follow along as we look over this car and make a game plan for repairs.

why does that trans have a VIN tag on it. usually only see that on e36 and e37 Z cars right?

Honestly I am not sure, that is not something I am used to seeing on the GS6-37 transmissions as well.
