This looks like it may have been a .50 caliber ammunition can. Terrific build idea. Thanks for sharing this insightful project. Wishing you and your family a blessed autumn season, gentle weather and restful evenings. Peace brother
I am new to your channel. I have loved every video I have watched. There is something about watching a craftsman use his skill to build a very functional and high quality product. But...I have one question...what kind of noodles do you cook so often??? Just curious, I am a huge fan of noodles. Thank you again for sharing!😊
That's a good idea for something to do with those M-2a2 ammo cans. There's also the PA-108, the "Fat Fifty", ammo can for a slightly larger sized stove.
One suggestion, next time make your fuel feed in the narrow end so that you can fit the longer pieces in completely and you can create more of a rocket stove type effect. Other than that, I would buy one of these.
@@stovetv Hello, that was also my question and thank you for this answer. I thought this was to reverberate the flame inside and protect the exterior sides. Thanks again for this video Have a good day
Thank you for the video. It looks easier to make this way, as other tutorials. I want to make a stove like this. But better handgrip for the front door needed. Greetings from sw germany (middle europe)
you did that backwards: should've put the kettle on the chimney and the cup on the flat part of the stove so you don't taste smoke after every sip of your cup...keep smoke off your cup i think I would bake the paint off better too, you don't want your teriyaki kebabs tasting like ammo can paint...

2:39 What is the function of those pieces that you install on the sides?
Wood gas fumes travel up sides and are reignited to provide more efficient heating!!!
good explanation

Hi friend! How long do you think the metal will last before it becomes oxidized by fire?
I don't do camping every day, so it's thick and will last a long time.
@@stovetv Fair enough, it's a valid point. Thank you for answering!

There’s actually stove paint.
It’s a product made especially for painting metal stoves.

Want to send you pictures can't do it on this have no clue have you got Snapchat?
Ammo stoves nice but the best machine is the catering tub store it was a fine bita kit
The reason I eat like that is because I applied the way I ate in the army called Pogli. It reminds me of old times and is delicious.
SUPER COOL ;-)

Super na małe wyprawy
