As an American woman I really appreciate that they don't use alot of foul language. Women in the U.S are loud and cuss like sailors even in front of their children and at the store. They seem alot more soft and lady like over there.
@kc marie - the practice of NOT LOSING FACE is ingrained into the culture. Thais will not say or do anything inappropriate in public that may shame themselves and their families. Tolerance is practiced in the Buddhist religion. This is why there is no hatred among different religions in Thailand; the Buddhists live in harmony with the Muslims and Christians.
American women are soft too if they leave the shores of America they can’t travel to Venezuela, Russia or Iran and act crazy
Was at my grandson's pee wee footballl game 2 weeks ago and heard a mother telling her 14-15 year old daughter to " get the fuck outta my face" right in front of everyone like she truly didn't give a damn about her daughter. Of course l was like wow, just wow.
We've only been saying that for the last 10 years. American women have really degraded themselves.

The racism, the women not respecting men, the corporate work world, the constant fighting in the Matrix takes its toll. I'm done. I just want the simple life doing what I love... which is tech.

I feel that. I also work in tech and visited Thailand for 3 weeks in June/July. Went to Krabi, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phi Phi etc. But I won’t lie, although I had an AMAZING experience in Thailand, ladies included, most girls I found there were average or below average looking. I was lucky to find an occasional 7, the prettier girls were other tourist.

@@ericpowell4350 well if you’re speaking about girls on the street in Pattaya , yeah I guess but most of them look like the pay to play type, that’s why they come there. There are some pretty Thai girls at the clubs but if baddies is what you want, Bangkok probably has the highest percentage of them.
It's a combination of everything. My advice. Go to Musuems first. Learn some of the history. Talk to the locals. Smile, try new foods, get yourself "lost". Tip very well.

@@donaldkinsey5245 Malaysia more developed than Thailand? Yes Chiang Mai is beautiful and the best in Thailand to me, my opinion. From the locals, to the culture, and cities (especially cnx) more chill with the traffic etc. Also northern language is lovely👍

For me, the cost of living over there is the #1 thing for me. To live by myself here where I live (and not in the hood) i have to pay at least 1200$ a month in rent alone and sometimes that's just for a studio apartment...I once did the math and i could live a nice comfortable life every month in or around downtown Bangkok for that price. The food is a very close second. To be honest the women are just the icing on the cake

@Sixx Senpai - you could get a very nice one-bedroom condo for less than $500 USD per month. In other parts of Thailand, you could rent a 3-bedroom house for $600 per month. Get out of the Matrix man! You could always return to the Matrix if things don't work out as planned in Thailand.

I just moved to Thailand myself Uncle Richie. For me personally, I'd like to start a family, but a woman is the least of my concerns right now. Yes, the women here are much better, but a couple things stand out to me more than just the women. Reason being, you can find beautiful women in other Countries like Colombia, Argentina, Chile , DR Etc.
But here's my list:
1. Food - Food here is amazing, cheap and street food everywhere, coffee everywhere, fruit is healthier etc.
2. Cost of Living - I don't have to explain this one. I just signed a year lease at this amazing 2 BR corner unit apt in BKK. Cheaper than a 1 bedroom in the US and has a view that's unbeatable with Amenities to die for.
3. Weather - Spring / Summer all Year Round (Maybe a Little Rainy but Better Than Winter)
4. Timezone - One of the ways I make money is Trading, London Session is 3pm in the Afternoon. I can stay up late and do whatever and still wake up late and get errands done before work. Cant beat it.
Thats just a bit for me, there's more but I'll talk about that in future.

I don't hear about Thai police harassing or shooting unarmed brothers and sisters in the streets. Our beaches (if you want to call them that) are so polluted. So I'm ecstatic to see the beauty of white sand and blue water. I guess the ladies would be kinda like the side dish. And it's simple because you can find similar cost of living in different parts of the world, but you cannot find the same level of cooperation everywhere, especially for specific ethnicities.
I'm going where I have the highest cooperation because I already know that I can find a higher quality of life and a great price of living in a variety of countries.
I agree partially with that statement AI I believe the women is the draw, but the peace of mind you get here and the safety will eventually outweigh the women. Infrastructure, Internet food it’s like the ingredients to a cake you missed one of those elements and part of the magic goes away. But I do agree. Women is definitely the motivating factor lol.
