Brandy, I love how your cards turned out! Many years ago I made cards for a silent auction a Stampin Up friend of mine was doing for brain cancer. To “step them Up” I used fabric on them. I actually got old sample fabric books from a retailer who was throwing them away. You have inspired me to pull out that bin of mini fabric pieces. Thank you so much!
What an awesome idea, from a seamstress From way back, I have tons and tons of fabric. And you know what’s really good for this kind of use is getting the little fat quarters. You can normally find a lot of different fabrics and the fat quarters and what you could in the bolts of fabric. Thanks Brandy for showing this to me now I have a use for a lot of fabric that I don’t use anymore. First one you were tearing the fabric, I thought what on earth is she doing, then, I realize that was a genius. I love the frayed edge. Thanks again!
Thank you so much! 😊 I’m so glad you liked the fabric on the card-it’s such a fun and unique element to add! Thanks for your kind words and for stopping by! Happy crafting!
Hi Brandy, What a cool idea. All of your cards are beautiful. You do a lot of card designs thinking outside of the box. I love your creativity ,talent and cheery personality.. Thank you for sharing it with all of us
What a super great idea to use fabric on cards. I just moved and had to get rid of lots of stuff. I am downsizing to an apartment. So I am going go through my stuff and see if I have fabric to use for my cards!! Thanks for the ideas!!
Brandy, I love those cards all of them. They were so cool. I Copied your idea with the fabric on the plates that you did a while back and now I'm gonna copy the cards so I'm gonna try anyway thank you for sharing. All those cards are so beautiful like everything you make is beautiful.
You just made my day-thank YOU for your kind words! 💕 I’m so glad you’re feeling inspired! Keep creating and having fun, and I hope to see you here again soon.
Great idea. I have material scraps I bought a few years when I went to Hawaii. Nice sunset with sailboat. Will make a nice birthday card for the men in the family.
Stunning! Never thought of doing this on a greeting card which is really DUMB because I have used fabric for years in my junk journals. Thx Brandy, we can always count on you to give us great ideas! Hugs from Denise in Nazareth.
Brandy tried to price put in an order but everything I wanted is out so I have to wait but I got your November host code in the mail so I'll try again next week to get the things I would like to purchase beautiful cards as usual. That is a technique. I'll have to try because I bought some Christmas fabric when I copied your plates. I've got fabric leftovers so I will try to use that with my cards.
Hi Brandy - FABULOURS video and shall be giving it a go. Being a quilter, I have LOADS of fabric. Can't find this on your blog though? Take care, Linda xx

Beautiful card. As a quilter I do not tear material because it stretches it. But will try 😅😅
