By the way, I use caps lock not as a sign of shouting, but to EMPHASISE information ( which is not possible on YT like on writing apps on a desktop computer like italics or bold or underlining).
Instead of attacking someone, just may be asking first would be more intelligent…

@@SkyeSeafoodandeatit Bro you can’t simply “move” away from the storm in the UK, the storms are often as large as half of the UK if they directly hit, just like Ashley

Storm Ashley!!!! . I would suggest a storm is what has just occurred in the U.S in the way of Milton . Naming strong winds is almost laughable.

I would suggest that well defined low pressure system with wind gusts of 70 to 80 mph definitely consitute a storm.

Milton was a hurricane. You defintely don't label those as a storm (that term is also a separate defined thing).

The National Hurricane Center in the USA doesn't wait until a tropical low is a hurricane before naming it. They name Tropical Storms with sustained winds of 39mph or more. Storm Ashley has sustained winds in excess of 39mph and so, if it was in the tropical Atlantic, the NHC would have named it. The UK Met Office names these lows based on wind impacts, rather than thresholds, so that more people take them seriously and fewer people lose their lives.
