Thousands of repetition. Used to have a buddy living in a trailer on the side of the house who basically practiced with me 2-4 days a week. We would live pitch and hit back and forth for a few hours. I made a back stop with a strike zone painted on it. Plus, an offset curveball zone. Our rules were pretty simple. 2 walks and you lose your pitching rights and we would switch. We also kept track of strikeouts and homeruns (bragging rights). Talk about some heated arguments over strikes and balls. A ball might hit half the zone or miss by in inch. Do that for a few years and you are going to be a serious spray hitter with good feel for the zone and a solid pitcher who can throw 9 innings. Pretty much some local legend stuff. The beat up field we used to pratice on eventually got flipped around and turned into the high school baseball field. Talk about leaving some good vibrations. They used to play off site at the city parks and recreation field. Then the sandlot dirtbags club took over that field. A bunch of random guys who played pickup games once a week. Played a lot of games with those dudes as well. Between junior college, MABL, the Mexican Leagues, and the Dirtbags Club I was playing 4 games a week, at one point? Sometimes, my friend and I would do fielding practice and just hit balls to each other. Goodtimes. R.I.P. unfortunately, he died at 36. Too young. Like my best man at my wedding type of friend.

Have you encountered Jamie Cevallos approach to front arm dominance in hitting? Thanks for the content.
