Harvey corporation counsel helps council members boot candidates from 2025 Thornton Township ballot

Attorneys from Ancel Glink are supporting Mayor Chris Clark, City Administrator Corean Davis, and Ald. Dominique Randle-El (5th) withstand petition challenges in the 2025 Thornton Township race. But they're also working to boot independent candidates from the ballot, too.
That's because Clark, Davis, and Randle-El are all running for the township as part of their newly formed "Reform Thornton Township Party."
Ancel Glink most notably employs Illinois House Speaker Emanuel "Chris" Welch (D-7th). Welch is also Clark's biggest campaign donor. He gave Clark nearly $57,000 to support Clark's 2023 mayoral bid.
