i Feel like Broly's redirecting energy blast was just another way of showing how he likes play mind games on his opponents. He first lured gohan into the air to then shoot a energy blast at him and redirect it towards goten, trunks, and videl. I thought that was a cool way of showing how he fights
The Super 13 arc reveals something pretty interesting IMO. The concepts of older models androids being used in the story. We got it with 16 but he didn't do much honestly. The thing was, when Trunks warned everyone from the attacks in three years, the anime could have used it as actual filler material or even the manga. Bulma could have individually looked for the Dragon Balls and wished to know Gero's location. Alongside Krillin and Yamcha, she could have tried to hunt him down. Those weaker androids could have be used as benchmarks to how strong the real thing will be. The secondary cast could also have shown what they learned by King Kai. It would also be a nice twist to see that Gero himself is an android. It would be also interesting to find out that Gero has multiple laboratories or hidouts like Orochimaru. And Shenron telling them just one location could have ended up them wasting a wish as Gero escaped with Android 11 and 12 being able to keep Yamcha, Tien and Krillin busy enough. Bio Broly has one of the worst endings to a film for me. He died to salt water and it makes him a pretty lame way to defeat him. Yeah, it's nothing like Goku giving up against Bills or the time reversal shit in Revival of F, and perhaps even Trunks cutting with a sword of hope through Zamas, but it's up there. But I loved every Mr Satan scene. btw, In the Piccolo Jr Saga, it was confirmed that Kami used the Dragon Balls to return the moon to it's place while removing Goku's tail permanently. I felt Janemba worked well because it feels like it makes sense why a creature as powerful as him and pure evil can exist. He is basicly kid Boo in a sense but I get the critic. I personally like this movie better than Bojack Unbound and even Wrath of the Dragon. I feel a lot of Dragon Ball movie villains are advertisement for the anime counterpart. Like Turles being Ginju in Goku's body, Garlic Jr being Raditz, Broly being Cell... but Janemba feels more close to boo Zangya used the green body red hair form against Krillin in the Bojack movie
goku giving up against bills isnt even bad at all he knows when to give up instead of being an idiot and keep shouting bullshit like naruto the terrible character/show and he literally gave up when he got crushed by vegeta and he gave up when kid buu was pushing back the spirit bomb and super 13 isnt an arc its a movie.
You're jumping the Gun on Hero's Legacy, Bro! Jr's growth as a person was done exceptionally well, it set Jr up as the antithesis of Goku. Jr was a coward, an introverted child that did not want to fight or leave the comfort of his home. Unlike Gohan who was forced to survive in a jungle by Piccolo, Goku Jr made a conscious choice to search for the Dragon Ball in the wild, even though he was cowardly and didn't know what to do, he was determined to go through with it for the sake of saving Pan, he earned his SSJ in this moment. I can't believe you missed it, Goku literally spells it out for the audience at the end:- *"Everyone's okay, i can't believe it"* *"It wasn't the Dragon Ball, Goku, it was the Courage&Love that opened the right doors, you did it by yourself"* This also reinforces the ending of GT where Trunks said that humans have to learn to rely on themselves instead of dragon balls and jr did that. He went through a journey all by himself and came out as a better person, we could even speculate that the spirit of Goku saved Puck&Pan but he kept it as a surprise for jr.
I fully agree with you and that's a GREAT movie or tv special it's easily a top 5 in the dragon ball franchise but who gives a fuck about that dude personal and subjective opinion at the end of the day it's just that nothing more nothing less meanwhile objectivity is real and that's objectively an iconic timeless classic great movie or tv special . I see with pleasure that there are many dragon ball lovers that loves that great movie/tv special and especially loves GT in this world like you and me aka smart fans that loves the real dragon ball that died with GT so let's leave that disgusting soulless disgrace called Super supa to some dumb fuck fan boys that loves that empty trash disgrace.
You can say what you want about Fusion Reborn Wrath of the Dragon Broly Second Coming & Bio Broly but i think they are the best looking and best animated of anything dragon ball. I can't put my finger on why they look so good to me. The way the characters are drawn as well really sticks with me. I would love it if Dragon ball Z was reanimated (Traditional animation not digital) and every episode had the quality of animation as seen in these movies, i would go crazy.
@PizzaPuncher2 In general anime production companies place greater effort into the visuals of movies since they rely on ticket sales for profit, whereas since TV anime essentially debuts for free albeit with commercials, they don't devote the same amount of quality to them, because they make money regardless. Hopefully that explains why you view them as the best looking. Yes, it would be cool, but for a property as popular as Dragon Ball, it would probably be more lucrative going with quantity over quality, again I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but that's my perspective for why.

I disagree with Goku Jr's requiring SSJ being less valuable than the disgraceful U6 Saiyans. Cabba went SSJ because of a mere threat and fangirl selfinsert Caulifla had some backtingle shit. Goku Jr spent at least some time with the bears. I say it's even better than how Bardock went SSJ in Episode of Bardock. I don't think it's a bad movie. It's more mediocre with nothing going for it. To me the modern DB movies, Evolution and Bio Broly are far more awful. The thing about Revival of F is there is this guy Shizami who beat up Piccolo and Gohan had to Super Saiyan to beat him. I recall people claiming that he is related to Dabura before the film came out. We now know that he is about as strong as Dodoria. So Gohan and Piccolo got so weak, that they are weaker in than their Saiyan Saga counterpart, minus Gohan being capable going SSJ. Even if we count them fighting 1000 soldiers without killing, I hardly doubt they can get weakened to the point they struggle against someone at Dodoria's level despite Piccolo having power far above Saiyan Saga Frieza. Also where was it implied that Shizami trained with Frieza? The Frieza Force was still weak to the point Roshi could beat them up. I would expect their relative power being on King Piccolo's level, but Roshi who needs to use Mafuba against aged Piccolo someone can beat up a few of them. The problem I have with the laser thing is, Goku should at least be able to dodge it. Goku learned from his training under Kami to never let his guard down and the only way Goku would be caught off guard is if someone is relative to him in power or speed. This bothers me in Super especially because it's the go away reason for Goku to have trouble against literal nobodies. The biggest insult is what they did with Vegeta. I am not a Vegeta fan, but using his new blue form and still being killed by a worn down Frieza doesn't add much to his credibility. Frieza was brought back because Toriyama listened to a terrible song about Frieza which also made it into the movie. Much of my rationale for calling Goku Jr's SSJ the worst regards his characterization, like I'm no fan of the Universe 6 saiyans nor do I believe they deserve the transformation, but at least they have strength behind them, whereas with Goku Jr. his human friend had more of the "warrior mentality" than him, and someone like that I don't think should be able to achieve Super Saiyan.
