Just recently started my Qur'an book club, and it was so amazing because arabic words are so complex, so we end up discussing 1 verse for the entire session, which last more than an hour.
Like u said, choose the right book, the one that have a lot to chew.
And Qur'an is the best for me.

      I'll say! There's a lifetime's worth of study there.

How about the Ghetto Qur’an Book Club, in which each month you take a few bars from Curtis Jackson’s song ‘Ghetto Qur’an’ and do a deep dive on the people, places, and events he discusses in the song?

Thank you so much! This is the first video I’ve seen that goes straight to the point and gives pretty useful advice. I’m planning to start a Book Club and I needed this :)

Just found your channel a couple days ago. Wow!!!! I ordered The Educated Mind right away and I’ve finished Chapter one. I feel as excited about learning as I did so many years ago as a freshman at Occidental. My degree was in biology. I missed out on much of my classical education, but I love science. Thank you for my new study. I am thrilled.
