You sir, have done some outstanding work here! With this being the original single track design through the canyon, your layout has outstanding potential for some dated ops sessions. Say late 40's thru mid 50's, BIG steam, long reefer trains and occasional passenger along with manifest freights. Liked and subscribed, strong work!

This layout is not mine but rather one of my long time best friends. He is a modern modeler as you see by his equipment including BNSF style signals. I do his signal control system. His layout would look so much better in the canyon areas with an appropriate backdrop. We both agree on that but have not figured how how to get a great result.

Wow! A beautiful layout! Do you have any plans to add photo backdrops to some areas to further enhance an already excellent layout?

It's a goal for the future. The top deck has a commercial backdrop but the canyon will be much more difficult.

Very nicely done A favorite photo and hiking location. Would like to see more of the layout. Yards, industry switching ?

The layout has been little switching and the yards operate, for now, mostly as staging.
