I couldn't get here fast enough to check out your reaction to this PTX Masterpiece. lol I got the notification and just knew your descriptions of the video would be as beautiful as their performance. I could feel the the airy-ness of Mitch's voice in my soul and the intimate smoothness from Scott and the pleading from Kirstie with the moving underneath low bass from Matt and Kevin blending high uplifting notes. They all are true artists and this video is the showcase of perfect evidence in artistry!
As for your reaction, I just want to say how well you moved me to tears and confirmed why I love watching people react. Absolutely Beautiful!! God Bless and keep up the great reactions!

It is a sound bath, AND a sound exfoliation. The sounds just removes negative feelings across the board. If you need help getting into the mood of the season, this is the rapid release medication for that.

The "storyline" of any song is very important to them. This was amazing. One of my faves from their new album. The last 8 songs are all new and I hope you react to ALL of them...especially "O Holy Night". EPIC! This is an upgraded version of "O Holy Night" they did years ago. So beautiful!!! Soothingly haunting. Pure perfection and pure fire 🔥. They have come so far in the past couple of years. Just when you think they can't get any better...they do! I went to their concert last night in Orlando and they sang this song flawlessly. It was absolute magic! I was lucky to get seats in the 10th row on the floor and I had the most spectacular close-up view. Thank you for your Pentatonix reactions!

Their performance of Holy Night is magnificent!
When they did this live (4 days ago here in Fort Worth, TX) Kirstie added in a third song. 'Little Toy Trains'. At one point, Kirstie, Mitch and Scott are all singing different songs to the tune of 'Pure Imagination' with Scott singing the words to that go with the tune. True artistry at it's finest!!!

I was never consciously aware that both of these songs were in 3/4 time. What a beautiful idea melding these together!

Kiss of the Rose, Seal cover PTX
Who else gets a Zelda vibe during the intro?
Mitch is a counter tenor and usually I correct anyone who says he's using falsetto because as a counter tenor he can reach soprano, no falsetto required. He can sing naturally higher than kirsty. But in this song I believe he is using his falsetto, because the power of his counter tenor voice doesn't fir this arrangement. He needed his voice to be thin and subtle and light, like snowflakes falling from tbe sky and being the counter point to Scott's lower tones, especially when they sing both songs chorus simultaneously. Mitch had to float above in the clouds while Scott remained below yet interwoven so perfectly.
