Dauntless Information - How to Interrupt Behemoths with ANY WEAPON - Patch 1.10.3. onwards

- Hey folks,
As requested, I have done a guide on how to interrupt with every weapon in the game. The following interrupts (or boops) are covered:
- Chain Blades
- Aether Strikers
- Axe
- Hammer
- Sword
- Repeaters
- War Pike
As long as you know WHICH attacks can interrupt, it's very easy to get it done no matter which weapon you're using. Have fun my friends!

This was great topic to cover i remember digging all over YT when I first started to play to see how to boop and there was no vids, anything that did exsist covered it so poorly.

For chain blade booping: your dash+light can interrupt (without weighted strikes), i find if you time it right you'll either get I-frames (ignore the attack) OR you get the interrupt, either way i find once you get used to its a pretty easy weapon to boop with

One thing that can also interrupt is the malkarian ability and the urska shield I think
Yes you can. But these are not weapon related so they are not covered here

Today i learned that sprint + hold light atk with war spike can also stunt the behemoth, take a sec to begin to charge forward but when it happens, it kinda impossible to not to stunt them
Yes. This is shown in the vid 😁. However it is not always used because some behemoths have an odd hit box. You'll learn this more as you gain experience.
It is better to use the war pike swing for most behemoths lol

It is useless lol. Beyond the easy build, would you ever need it? In fact, I specifically stated that it is there for the easy build to make life easier (that and you don't exactly have fantastic cell choice :P)

Not sure if it was changed since you made the video but I believe that you can also interrupt with avenging overdrive on sword
Yes you can, and I made this video yesterday bruh LOL.
This is already known, but it's covered in a separate guide specific to avenging overdrive :P
I use guns a lot, but if I know I am fighting something easily interrupted, ill use thrax's legendary ability
Fair, but compared to discipline the legendary is once per fight so naaah lol

Honestly watched that when i started and loved it, blade surge was in it too, you even told us that the blade surge part starts a bit away, i don't think you stated that here

You might be lol. Because quite frankly nobody really uses Bladesurge for interrupting, it can interrupt but using it in combat is pretty much useless. I believe I updated my Sword Tutorial for 2022, and honestly most people just use Avenging Overdrive and Discipline to interrupt.
This guide is STRICTLY focused on how the BASE weapon interrupts. Nothing beyond that (therefore not covering, Urska Legendary, Discipline, Revenant, etc.).
Another way to interrupt with repeaters is to use the legendary ability for the urska repeaters
Yes but this doesn't cover legendaries ;) it's supposed to be about the weapons themselves. You are correct though

When you do that sliding axe thing is it a build or is it part of the axe so if you don't have a build on you can still do it

All the ones I found are outdated
Check on my channel. Any build after patch 1.8.0. Is still good. If you can't find one. There will be one coming soon.
I suggest using other pikes in the mean time
