I wouldn't mind living in Austrailia if I had a job that sent me there but I am extremely happy in Canada. I personally do not mind the cold on the Canadian prairies and hi humidity heat bothers me. Still, I wouldn't mind visiting Austrailia just for the difference in people and scenery.
