I was slow to adopt Clubhouse, but it's good. Some compare it to a 1980s-era party line but to me it's like your own personal talk radio where all of the stations are on topics you choose.
I’m on clubhouse and sometimes find it intimidating as someone who is new to learning tech. Do you have any advice on how we can still network even though we feel we may lack a lot of the experience/knowledge than most others in the room?
Go into as many tech sessions that you can and take notes, study them, rinse and repeat. There’s a lot of terminology out there but with continued listening and avid note taking it’ll make more sense with time. Plus it’s good to have notes now for later when you have a better understanding of things, then you can go back and dissect what you didn’t understand to add into your memory bank for future reference. Be patient and hard working, you got this
I'm self-teaching my self to code.I have a background in Computer Sciences and Telecommunications(As a civilian & in the U.S.Army). HTML is easy for me. I'm starting the CSS modules tomorrow. Question: Have you heard of the certs offered by Microsoft? Any suggestions for me?
Hey Robert! That’s awesome! Css is definitely more robust that html but I love it! I’ve never heard of any the Microsoft certifications but I’m sure there are tons out there. So far it sounds like your on the right track if you’re looking to get into development
@@nicoleyoungtech that is so kind and generous of you to offer. I managed to get in and you were right it is an incredible community. Thank you so much for remembering and reaching out to me though. It means a lot!
