I don't think they actually are. In Chapter 1, we have to get a toy off the assembly line to open a door (this is right before the Huggy Wuggy attack.) None of the toys show any signs of being alive in any way, they just appear to be ordinary toys. It seems to me that the toys actually being sold weren't alive, and the ones that were alive were only at the factory.
Seeing that small little Bron breaks my heart being all alone in a huge room. Thomas went through the experiment hoping to escape an agonizing death from lung cancer and had this happen to him as a little Bron toy.
But Thomas was likely experimenting on children as a human. No wonder the others attacked him--they could sense he was different. They could tell he was once an employee.

It's even more disheartening that Thomas didn't even know why he was attacked since he pretty much lost his memories of being an employee... theres a possibility he was one of those employees behind the companies' misdeeds but his eyes after being attacked broke my heart.
Yes and it makes more sense that he must be one of senior or high position employees of the company since he was working from like Eliot Ludwig era...

They may have been armed.
Terrorism towards the toys maybe. They (the toys) probably know what the staff can do to them, like shoot them or discard them (ex: the destroy-a-toy room). so maybe they had self preservation of sorts to try and survive longer and wait to get their revenge

Attacking the staff would result in increased security. They were probably biding their time until the Day Of Joy, where they rebel.
My guess is that they probably waited until the attack was nearly done or as the lady suggested they intervened in a way where the other toys couldn’t get to them

Interestingly enough this tape also confirms the fact that not only were the employees being turned into monsters but also that the experiment's are sentient enough to know if an employee was turned into a toy.
But wouldn't that mean a good chunk of them would be tearing each other apart even before this toy was made like Mommy Log Legs or others like her? Makes me more wonder what this guy did in his prior life that made the others want to kill him so badly even after being turned into a toy.

She said the toys could tell Thomas-Bron was different. Maybe willingly becoming a toy and unwillingly becoming a toy leads to the mind and behavior of the toy being different. Or maybe they noticed the way the scientists treated this Bron was different and they didn't vibe with that. Either way, they definitely didn't attack him just because he was small.
Ooh, I hadn't considered that! If the scientists DID treat Thomas-Bron different, then yeah, that could have rubbed the other toys the wrong way.

That wouldn’t work because mommy long legs was also a worker, so they defiantly forced children AND workers against their will to become toys. BUT I do think anyone who is a “volunteer”, is seen differently to the other toys, they don’t have the same rage as the ones who had their lives taken forcefully. Also may have something to do with the voice they hear in their minds from “Him” I can’t remember his number rn 😅
@@gabbymiller4715 Wasn't it stated that she was a scientist that did care for the children and didn't want harm to be done to them? But also, she is part of the "Big bodies initiative" (or whatever it's called), so maybe that relates to how other toys behave around her.

Two things I noticed, they specify that this person was a playtime employee, which might mean that the toys are sentient and ware enough to identify who was put into toys. This could explain why Bron was attacked in the first place, if he was put in containment with former kids it would make sense for him to be an easy target. Second thing is the frame when they rush into the room and see Bron a mass of limbs can be seen scurrying away into the darkness, eluding to this being the main attacker, not sure if it's mommy or boxy (the colors seem to match) or if it's a new mascot we have yet to see.
The scientist lady said that the man inside Bron worked at Playtime since 1955. The other toys probably didn't like Bron because they probably thought of him as the enemy if they could tell he was, "different."

Most likely, on the other hand, the scene, where the scientists rush towards Bron to rescue him, reminded me of the destroyed toys we often see in the game.
Unless they toys we see lying around in the game, were all previous employees that got transformed into toys, they were probably killed for some other reason.
It is possible that there is something like a hierarchy in the toys world. Where the weaker are killed by the stronger toys. We know that mommy Long legs kills Bunzo Bunny and the Mini Huggys after they were unable to stop us. And Bron (Thomas) looks harmless compared to the other toys/experiments.
On the other hand, there could be another reason as well. The scientist says that the toys noticed that he was different. The only question is: What makes him different compared to the other toys? Was it really that he was just a former employee of the company or was there something else?
Bron wasn't attacked because he was small, he was attacked because he was an employee for a very long time and has probably seen the atrocities done by Playtime Co. while the other toys might have all been orphans or new employees

I think being small was a part of it as going by the theory that the toys are children Thomas would have been in their exact position of being small and weak and the minute the other toys picked up who he was and the opportunity they had they realised they could get some revenge
@@kawaiipotato5972 I think them attacking Bron because of him being involved in their experiments makes the most sense other than being small. They could have just taken the advantage of his height so they could bash him up out of revenge for their suffering.

My gut reaction was that the other toys sensed he either wasn't a kid like they might’ve been, or that he was someone who's role in the factory wasn't friendly.
Maybe the reason he's a tiny Bron is because the smaller toys were used as tests to see how the toys would behave when brought to life, before the scientists/doctors made them into "bigger bodies".

Yeah, but I feel worse about the others. This Bron was doing these experiments on the other children when he was human for years. Makes you wonder if he deserves it... even if he doesn't remember his old life when he's made into Bron.

An easter egg referencing the ending of this tape would be cool tho, like if you peek into the cell the small bron just slowly turns its head to look at you then turns it back to the wall, floor or wherever he was staring at

The hand that grabs Bron is actually Boxy Boo.
At 1:12 you can hear Boxy's Music box ever so slightly in the background, as well as this if you pause at the right time you can see that the hand is a claw rather than Huggy's hand which has no claws at all. They also mention how bron's thyroid gland was devoured which is located in the front of the neck and Boxy boo's jumpscare shows him biting down on the players neck.

A interesting thing to notice is, if people dont remember who they were before turning into toys, its no wonder that the people kept poppy in a case because she was special and a expectation

I feel absolutely TERRIBLE for Bron. The poor guy is so small and lonely, and he doesn't know what the hell is going on. I want to go into the Poppy Playtime world and give him a hug and be his friend, even if I would get ripped apart in the process. Also, the hand that attacked Bron is Boxy Boo's. You can also very faintly hear Boxy's music box before he attacks Bron.
It is more than a head transplant, it is the transference of a body to an inanimate object
I feel like this is a sign of one of two things happening:
1. Bron will be like Freddy in SB and help the player or
2. He will be one of the biggest threats in the game thus far due to being traumatized and/or confused
One other detail that I think is important is that they describe Bron as having multiple organs. I wonder if the other toys have the same organs, and if not, then that might be why they targeted him as a food source.
One thing I noticed is that right before the hand appeared, if you listen closely, you can hear the song that Boxy Boo’s box plays and the hand actually looks like Boxy’s
I think one thing to note is we don't know what roll Thomas had in Playtime Co. A lot of people assume he worked on the experiments, their evidence being the toys attacking him. However, I feel like he was just a regular employee that was offered to take part in the experiment after his diagnosis. And the toys attacked him because they could sense he was an employee. Also, if he knew about what these experiments were doing I doubt he would volunteer to be used in the experiment.
That makes sense because the other toys would've been made out of children. They would sense the "adult" part of Thomas and assumed he was in cahoots with the adults that betrayed and trapped them in the toys.
Same here. It's also strange why Playtime Co would put an adult into a child-sized toy instead of one of the large toys, like what happened with Mommy Long Leg's (adult human to large sentient toy)
Thomas was a test to see what happened if adults were put in toys. Apparently it's quite traumatizing, given Thomas never seemed to regain much of his abilities and was of course attacked by the toys who figured he was different, and they reacted violently.
She could of lied about him giving consent to being experimented on. Not like he could say anything to the contrary.

If Thomas is not around or is unable to give his side of the story, it is very easy to say he “volunteered” when in fact he did not say anything of the kind (maybe even said total opposite and not want anything to do with the experiments). I wonder if the lung cancer diagnosis could also be a potential lie.

I'm a bit late to this but:
It's absolutely wild that they even considered it a good idea to put all the "experiments" into one room. Literally a miracle no accidents happened sooner.
Poor Thomas/Bron. The eyes darting around confused, maybe in pain, seems like he can't talk either. Just awful.

What if some of the toys in this room weren't humas before but animals and kept some of their animal instincts? They might have been aswell hungry and their instincts told them to "prey on the weak" f.e. this tiny little Bron doesn't look very threatening or strong. He also was ill before he got turned into a toy, this could also play a role. His larynx and thyroid had been completely devoured, that speaks for hunger plus animals usually go for the throat.
That plus in one of the chapters we found a note about experimenting with rats and wanting to move on to something bigger for better results.
I don't think they went from rats straight up to humans, there must have been steps in between.
What could also back up that theory is they all fled when the research team with their flashlights ran in. Wild animals would most likely also make a run for it.
They may have teamed up on Thomas/Bron but they don't consider themself as a pack of sorts, otherwise they would have fought for their meal.
The other reason why they could tell Thomas/Bron was differen could be because he moved while the lights were on, at least it looks like it's brighter where he sits.
If the other toys are all children then they most likely played the statues game countles of times, so somewhere deep in their consciousness they know they're not allowed to move while lights are up. Thomas/Bron, who probably never played this game doesn't know that.
Maybe there was some sort of punishment for movig when they're not allowed to. Let's say one of them does something wrong and all get punished. They won't risk physically harming their experiments, so maybe nothing to eat for a while? Would explain the attack and why he was parcially devoured. They tryed to eat while they could.
This scientists know what they put in these toys, so they likely know they have to eat at some point. They couldn't have not fed them, otherwise scenes like this happened sooner.

I actually recognize the sound, it's the sound of the prototype. It's heard in the relocation video during the glitches, as well as in the monster tutorial of Project Playtime. It's a high frequency sound, most likely the prototype trying to assert control.
I think his disorientation is from not realizing his new state of being, rather than forgetting that he was a human. If he'd been part of the company since 1955, Thomas had to be rather old at that point; maybe his aging mind, combined with the trauma of being turned into a toy, left him entirely disorientated.
The scientist in the recording says he was 59 though, so he wasn't THAT old. It may be that adults have a harder time keeping their identity and stuff because they are fully-fledged human beings who have lived their lives, whereas children are still trying to figure out who they are and don't have as solid an identity yet.
I just realized that when the toys were attacking 1199, they acted like your typical school bullies. They're mean to you, but when an adult comes, they stop, and they act like nothing happened. This might confirm the theory that children were also turned into these toys

Hello, So guys just a quick detail that I’ve noticed , the part in the footage where Bron was found in first person by the team, if you slow down the play speed at 2:37 ( to get the best view possible slow down up to 0.25x ) . At the top left of your screen or video, just right at the edge of the light which is illuminated from the torchlight, you could catch a glimpse of a tall long leg figure which is pink in colour. My guess that it’s Kissy missy and the legs resembles that off Huggy wuggy just in pink. I wonder what she was doing there? Was she the one who stopped the other toys from attacking bron? Or was she the one that was attacking Bron herself with the other toys?
Could be Mommy Long Legs too because she moves so quick. Remember how agile and quick she was on Chapter 2? That might explain it.

Poor Bron. Makes me wonder what role he’ll play. Perhaps he’s a threat or maybe a situation of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” He might hate the workers but hate the other toys more
I hope he’s kind of like a silent companion type of character, helpin u complete puzzles and stuff. I don’t want to kill the lil guy :(
So, he maybe like Kissy Missy who helped the player in Chapter 2? And he will help the player in Chapter 3, we might never know.
I doubt that particular version of him is still alive if the Factory has been abandoned for so long. Bron was brutally attacked his first time meeting the other experiments, and he had to be kept away from them so that they wouldn’t kill him. Once the facility lost power, his cell should’ve became accessible to anyone or anything. Ergo, it’s highly unlikely that he’s still alive if they could tell that he was different from them upon their very first meeting.

I understand feeling bad for bron but I don’t trust a 59 year old in a toys’ body. He was attacked bc he is an employee! He’s been an employee since 55’ which means he’s likely seen all the atrocities unfold. Also he’s probably the reason they started the bigger bodies initiative. If bron was bigger would the other toys still have attacked him? Probably bc he had no hands lol
For me, this was hands down the most scary/creepy of the tapes so far. The eyes truly add an element of horror to Bron. I wonder if Bron is going to be the main antagonist for chapter 3 if it’s going to be this Bron because that would make things interesting since he’s obviously different from the others (like Mommy Long Legs). I also wonder if this would’ve happened to Mommy if they didn’t put her with the children or if it has something to do with Bron being an ex-employee.

One thing that I think you missed HorrorBro, is that there is actually potentially up to 59 cells. As in scientific studies there’s always a control… often referred to as Subject Zero.
Sounded like the audio artifacting that happens when an image is hidden in a spectrogram. I don't have any equipment that could confirm that though...
I was thinking the signal may be something they use when the toys are in the cells to try & keep them calm. But as time goes on it stops working, hence what happened to get the facility shut down.
There's probably 58 to 60 successful experiments, based on both the camera and experiment numbers. Prototype, Huggy, Mommy Long Legs and Bron Tom being just a few.
But it also sounded slightly hypnotic maybe it's 1006 trying to hypnotise the other experiments
@@shanedean9814 He does seem capable of that based on one of MatPat's recent videos. If 1006 is capable of telepathy and able to convince the other experiments to attack people, what if that's how it is able to command the others?
In Bron's room there is a floor grate.
If The Protype ever found a way to communicate through those grates with other aware toys it could have started the rebellion.
Also, I think any fully aware toys attack confused ones as they're "easy targets".
Possibly as a "mercy killing".

The noise, it sounds a bit like a growl. Kinda like how the mini huggy's sounded in wack a wuggy. It could be 11.99 trying to communicate but because of his toy state, words can't come out. I like to think that toys with a voice box or toys that are bigger bodies can communicate while smaller toys without voice boxes can't and can just talk using chirps or growls.

I'd put that down to how SMALL Bron's neck is leaving little space for his layrnx to move and how much noise he could make. Maybe growls or mumbles too quiet, no actual words. And he's made of hard plastic, I doubt his face would allow much articulation to speak.

Awesome coverage Mike! I think the other animatronics attacked him because he was a worker at the factory, maybe the other toys sensed his past hostility. So excited for the new chapter!
My theory is that they saw him as weak or stupid because he did not know of his past self or had very little sense of self or consciousness, so he was basically dead weight to them, and seen as food.
I think the toys attacked Bron (Thomas) because as it said in the video "He volunteered". The others were forced into their toy bodies, but Bron was more than willing just to escape pain. But your theory works as well.

Also bunzo tried to fight back and thats why we hear his symbols but momy ended up wining in the end so big toys = they dont get picked on medium toys = they do get picked on but its a 50% chance they win or lose and small toys = the perfect victims 100% going to die
If I had the choice to join the experiment, I would've asked for a larger toy with more moving parts so that I could then help with the experiments, preferably 4-5 arms and multiple sets of legs that would allow me to move around much quicker and climb walls/ceilings. If I were a scientist/worker there that is.

Just like how Huggy and Mommy were hostiles to the protagonist in the main game and remember the protagonist used to work at Playtime Co.

That makes sense because Mommy Long Legs recognized the protagonist as a former employee and says because of that he deserves to die unlike the children
When the lab scientist said that the other toys realized that 11.99 was different from the rest, I think it is because Thomas, the guy who became Bron, was an employee at Playtime Co. and he might’ve been one of, if not, the first worker to agree to have his body used in these experiments, with a large chunk of the other toys being made from children and, due to those toys made from children having very understandable resentment towards the workers, found that out about Bron and that being a reason why they attacked him, it might just be another level in the food chain type hierarchy among the toys, with the toys made from employees being at the lowest
I love how it’s getting darker and far more scary. Poppy Playtime turned into a Horror Game that is maybe as good as Fnaf
at 1:21 in the MOB video it’s not huggy wuggy, but actually kissy missy running off the screen when they arrive. if you look, it’s pink body and yellow hands. i had to double check to make sure it wasnt mommy when i first saw their video, but mommy’s color scheme is pink and pink.
and also to note, no other toys are running away in the shot from brons body when they arrive, only km is seen running away
Bron's upper face is just one of the popular Jeff the killer images but with the skin tinted light brown. The shape of the head and cheek, the eyes, everything. Does anyone else see that?

I think the part with the broken Bron on the table with his eyes darting about was after the initial operation, because that would be when he's the most disorientated, and that's what a disorientated person would do.

To be honest, I thought that only children were going to be the ones turned into regular-sized toys while the employees and adults were gonna be subjected to the Bigger Bodies Initiative. It's quite interesting to learn that even employees are transformed into normal-sized toys. I wonder if we'll encounter a giant toy from the Bigger Bodies Initiative that was once a child.

That noise at the end sounds like bugs or an echolocation sort of thing. Could be tied to a bat-themed toy or even a spider or bug-themed toy. Spider is less likely since Mommy Long Legs exists, but that's where my mind is going. Either that, or it's the sound of some machinery.
This Bron the Dinosaur is experiment 1199, and Mommy is experiment 1222.
I watched the premiere and immediately knew there were theorists watching and planning their next video.
Maybe the sound that plays at the end is Bron screaming, maybe the reason why it’s so distorted is because Bron was bitten to pieces and his voice box was damaged

Just found this out while studying Law&Ethics for health care workers: The legal definition for "Terminally ill" is a patient that isn't expected to live longer than 6 months, or, a patient who has 6 months to live. In the video it said Thomas became terminally ill 6 months ago. This is just a thought, but it could be that he recently died when they performed the experiment. Knowing if he died or was still alive when the procedure took place, to me, is important.
Another thought I have is that the scientist talking seems emotionally dead or depressed. This is totally random and has no evidence, but she could be Patty Hall. Again, this thought is just a silly shot in the dark.
The doctor mentioned Thomas was a full time employee at the factory and that’s probably why the toys attacked him since they hate everyone who had a part in their creation no matter how big or small their position in the company was.
That was kinda sad imagine waking up like that and not being able to understand what happened to you, I'm so excited for chapter 3!

I find it kind of terrifying but also funny how the toys are able to tell which toys are orphans and employees. Terrifying part is if get turned into a toy as a worker, you’re as good as dead. Funny part is the toys are like “What do we have here, a Playtime Co. employee. You’re NOT welcome here…” But in seriousness, it’s more sinister than humorous
Also, that was Kissy Missy running away, not Huggy. My guess is this is storage B since it seems to have the same toys from Kissy Missy’s VHS tape. It also makes me wonder if Kissy Missy truest is aggressive towards workers or not since we can assume she was kinda involved in the attack against Tomas but I’ll guess we’ll see in Chapter 3

Not just souls, human parts, kind of like human transmutation in FMA/FMAB when you think about it with the chimeras, they're fusing the flesh with the plastic, taking two things and smacking them together, that's probably why the Thomas Bron was confused. He kept his memories and sentience most likely, or if he didn't keep his memories he at least did his sentience, which implies all of the other toys did too and can maybe recognize employees, that's likely why they attacked him, they can tell that either A: He's confused, and disoriented, thus a weak link and easy prey and food source, or B: That he was an employee, and thus not really one of them if most of the experiments are children, thus the enemy. And you wouldn't let an enemy or someone who indirectly helped with your suffering just go like that.

The noise at the end could possibly be a sound code with the keys or pitches being translated from a code or by their letter key
I think that noise at the end of the video is a signal sent by the Prototype. This is definitely the scariest one yet. Cannot wait for Chapter 3!

This trailer gives a new definition to "Play Care" lol - the audio clip sounds kind of like birds chirping, or maybe an extremely high pitched and sped up heart rate monitors. People mentioning Boxy Boo and that wouldn't be surprising either - I KNOW that Project Playtime is more than just a fun idea, there's a lot of lore. Also, in the frames of the team opening the door to find the hurt and bleeding Bron I thought I saw pink, as in maybe it was the giant Kissy Missy?

I think the toys that attacked Thomas are "new life", as in souls created by scientists and Thomas is "old life", a human soul put in a toy. I reckon the toys can sense that he's not like them, because according to the scientists words, they ONLY attacked him. Not each other. Which is why they can stay in a room together and he can't join them.

Also, the sound at the end might have been a radio frequency led by bron, since he got all the things ripped out of him, he still has maybe a speaker within him, and gave off that noise as if he would probably try to communicate, or he was panicking.
If anyones played portal or portal2, valve ad placed small radios all around the levels, if you bring these radios to specific locations in the levels they’ll pick up on a frequency and make a weird sound, if you put the sound through a program it’ll create an image, the audio clip at the end of the video reminds me of those frequencies from portal.
Interesting note is, if Thomas became a new toy, he was probably torn apart because he was new. The 1007 didn’t want to have new toys created so maybe he told the older toys to kill Thomas

It could be birds chirping? Maybe the sound the Ch3 antagonist makes. Sheeprampage made a theory about the ch3 antagonist being a vulture and someone else (I think Bijuu Muke) mentioned that the hand that grabbed Bron looks like it has claws or talons. It could also be Boxy Boos hand but we don't have many other ways of knowing
If you notice in the slow down clip, you can hear footsteps over the pitches, so it might be a teaser related to the prototype
Seeing the image of Bron with the hyperrealistic human-looking eyes reminds me of the iconic Fnaf 1 hallucination of Freddy with the hyperrealistic human-like eyes staring at you.

That final spund a the end is needed to be played using a spectrogram. Putting it through a spectrogram allows you to get a message that says "GO TO SLEEP" with something in the center. I can't make it out, however.

I think they turned him into a toy to act as double agent of sort. They were probably trying to figure out what exactly was causing the other toys to go crazy and they sent him in with the other as a failed attempt.
Maybe that’s why they went for his larynx/voice box so he couldn’t report anything back. But maybe the toys didn’t know his eyes had camera feed (if that’s we’re supposed to gather from his pov shots)
This does show us how there does seem to be multiple ways the company makes toys through both humans and experiments and that it seems they have a divide that might by explored in this chapter
While we're looking though brons pov, we can see in the first clip a tall figure which I am lead to believe that is actually Kissy Missy and not Huggy because when the worker is running around the corner to Bron, in the slight left side you can see something move, almost run away and it has a yellow hand and some pink.
