Fresh Almonds

Have you ever eaten one of these???
Fresh green almonds are basically raw almonds before they’ve matured.
They’re only in season for a short period in Spring.
Persian tradition is to dip them in salt & then eat them 😋 We call them Chaghaleh badoom 💚

Fun fact: almonds are actually a type of plum. You can eat them fresh like in this video too, this also means that an almond isn’t a true nut, but a seed
