Make an Embossed Effect with Photoshop | Adobe Creative Cloud

- Raise the details of your image for added dimension.
Start from scratch, or download practice files [adobe.ly/31TiJ7J] for a head start. Steps below.
1. Open the practice file in Photoshop.
2. Select the Tiger layer in the Layers (Window - Layers) panel.
3. Set the Fill to 0%.
4. Click the fx icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.
5. Choose Bevel & Emboss.
6. Define the embossing properties and click OK. We used the following settings:
• Style: Inner Bevel
• Technique: Smooth
• Depth: 126%
• Size: 10
• Soften: 10
• Angle: 117
• Use Global Light: checked
• Altitude: 53
• Highlight Mode Opacity: 100%
