Ahhh, some one remembers the baby teeth the FCC used to have. The "Airwaves belong to the people" tee-hee
Re: pregnancy on tv...Lucile Ball, pregnant herself on her show with her husband Desi Arnaz were the first to break that bit of censorship of a pregnant woman not having been allowed on air.
do have nothing against the other celebs that were on this show but is this channel ever going to show the Dick Cavett shows where he interviews Jackie Gleason or Art Carney? How about any Honeymooners actors that were part of the main cast? These are rarities much like all the other Dick Cavett interviews
ceaseless repetition is a sign of dementia
@@Marcel_Audubon I am just trying to let people know that I want to see those interviews by doing what I am doing.
Vanitas vanitatum, dixit Ecclesiastes. Vanitas vanitatum! Omnia vanitas!
Jeez, seems like anyone who has ever been a guest on the Dick Cavett show is dead now. Probably just seems that way to me. Even so, odds are good it's majority of them that _are_ dead.
Yeah and Rowan's request for an ashtray at the end of the clip is probably one reason why a lot of them are dead.
@@TVFREAKMAN maybe that's why....also, this episode aired 51 years ago...add that to the age of each of those who were guests on Dick Cavett's show and none of them would be young now.
Can you say Dan Rowan was an asshole? Cause that’s what Peter Marshall said
Groucho wasn't as funny as he thought he was
Dick's "expansive" is funnier than Groucho's "expensive." 3:47
Sad just sad. Groucho couldn't let somebody else be talked to without trying to get the camera on him.
This appearance is from December 1971, and Groucho suffered from old age dementia the years before his death. I think you can see it here, he wasnt as sharp as in his Cavett appearances in the 60s.
If he had come off as grouchy, I could have made a pun of his name. Oh well.
