This feels like one of those edgy animations you might find on the internet 10 or 15 years ago made to hate on someone in great detail. Nostalgic
Except it surprisingly fits within both settings. After all, graphic violence is what minions are made for, and Shrek was made to dunk on Disney and other familly friendly media in a first place.
It’s honestly nice seeing that type of stuff again.

...and the fact that the Minions are canonically immortal makes this funnier, because this implies that Shrek is the only one who can kill the minions. Shrek is our last bastion and hope to defeat them.
Immortal doesn't mean can't be killed, just that it won't die of old age.

The animation’s actually incredible despite its goofy ahh appearance, the fight choreography is decent, the different ways Shrek kills the minions are hilarious, and I love how the minions aren’t just annoying pricks but carefree bubbly fun characters like how they were originally introduced. 10/10
