Kevin Conroy has reprised his role as Batman one last time via a trailer promoting the Suicide Squad video game. Biggest thing ever this year so far. Cannot wait to see it. It's going to be different playing the Arkham games since the saddest news ever this year, indeed, but by God, he lives forever!
+Almighty King I wonder if we'll have another Batman game like this ever again.Im not the type that supports milking a franchise but I'd be a liar if I said I'm not interested in another Batman game.

EXACTLY, BRO. Think of it this way, that shit game ain't even canon with the multiverse plot device they came up with. So, you can easily decanonize it. We got the full Batman story with all four games, that's all we need.
frostyguy1989 Probably because they couldn't figure out how to fit it in with the game's overall depressing tone. Its just not gothic enough. Although, it could have been decent end credit music.
Batman:"It was all a lie. There's nothing wrong with you." Joker:"Nice of you to say but you of all people know there's plenty wrong with me." Joker:"Take my blood, for example. I wish somebody would. This stuff is killing me."
Both are absolutely amazing games but i think Borderlands used the song much better, it was also a better fit for the song. theres no place for a hero (like batman) on pandora, literally
This will always be one of the coolest childhood memories and one of the best games I've ever played. I still remember asking my mum to get it for me and this video was a large reason why. It's sad there will be no more Batman games in terms of this franchise. God bless to Kevin Conroy and thanks to him for giving us the best batman experience ever 👍, an absolute legend ❤💯
One of my all time favourite trailers, "Ain't No Place for a Hero" was the perfect song for the trailer, makes me nostalgic watching it again, Batman Arkham City is a masterpiece game 👏👏👏 🦇🦇🦇
0:28 the moment this song came on, I had instant goosebumps for this game when they showed this trailer and then see the gameplay of Batman Gliding through Arkham city and beating on thugs? I knew we had a hit on our hands! and then now 11 years later, it’s considered the greatest superhero game sequel since Spider-Man 2 on the PS2!
11 years ago this video game changed my life as a little kid who loves comic books but in general superheroes. I’m forever very thankful to beat the Arkham series Rest in peace Kevin Conroy. You are My Batman.💙
This game has really aged well. Just looking at the latest Gotham Knights trailer, you would never tell that 10 years and 2 generations have passed. A testament to Rocksteadys work.
There's actually a cool easter in this trailer pause at 0:24 and you can see the GBS building which was removed from the game because it the GBS building is from metropolis not Gotham :)
This was and to this day is my perfect recommendation for a game trailer...it is the definition of what you see is what you get. No render trailer BS. Just gameplay and the cutscenes are the way they are in the game. This should be the blueprint for every game trailer in existence. On top of everything it has a perfectly fitting soundtrack. It is just perfection and at the time it made me want to play the game immediately. These days I see trailers...I want to play games immediately too, but then I think about it 3 seconds and say to myself...don´t kid yourself...the game won´t look or play like this. Thinks have degraded so much in many regards.
Dammit! I still remember watching this trailer and getting hyped for AC! This still holds up to me, good job, Rocksteady, 14 year old me is still satisfied all these years later.
When I was a kid I saw this trailer and fell in love with the song. For years I tried to find it but couldn’t remember a name or band name. “This ain’t no place for a hero” was stuck in my head for years before I finally found it again couple years back. God it frustrated me cause I thought it was some made up figment of my imagination
not only is this one of the coolest trailers for anything ever. and the song is awesome. but after loving and becoming obsessed with arkham asylum i can tell you when this trailer dropped, i completely lost my shit. i have never wanted a game more. it was a daily grind waiting for this game to come out, the impatience lol. oh my god the nostalgia. now here i am turning 30, fuck.
Good thing about Arkham trilogy design choice is that though some visual aspects start to show their age. In general the game still looks up to date thanks to gritty and dirty look of surroundings and enemies art style.
This video edit for the song is just so damn good! 11 years from the first time I've seen this and no ones done this better. the Umbrella Academy's season 3 ending used the song well. but it brought me right back here.
I've never actually played any of these games, but I remember thinking this is the best trailer for a game ever back then. I should probably get around to playing them eventually. haha
Great song choice. When I watched this as a kid I knew instantly that it would an amazing experience. I begged my dad to give me money for raking up leaves in the yard in the months leading up to release. An integral part of my childhood that I'm glad I got to experience
