My all time favourite Tool song by a long way, and as I started watching, the storytelling of the video drew me into it even more, leaving me transfixed in it. The storytelling matching the music so well amplified the emotions as it built. Even the underground tunnel scenes in the breaks between the main story felt like a glimpse into the aftermath, decades or centuries later. I was waiting, and praying to see the tidal waves wash over and through everything in an attempt to purge the filth and decay of humanity away.... for giant sinkholes to slowly open into gaping maws to swallow the detritus of civilisation while those not yet swept up in the carnage looked on in disbelief and horror. This of course was the way I personally had always imagined it playing out when I closed my eyes listening to this song, and I'm sure everyone else had different visions in their own minds, but I just wish the story had flowed and progressed with the music a bit more closely as it had at the start. The rage and angst of the distorted and deformed survivors definitely hit home though, and brought me back into it again. A very powerful song, with some very powerful imagery to go with it. I can't wait to see more of your videos if the follow in this vain. Thanks for bringing a new way to enjoy one of my favourite songs!
