I personally think that it reminds you of it's story, it's a very Intimidating Mountain, those that have tried to climb it have either Successfully climbed the Mountain, or they instead went Missing, never to be seen ever again
I never found it to sound intimidating… it’s quite hard to explain but well… it felt much more magical, shaking my curiosity Like- like a foggy morning in a magical environment- something like that

I actually love the Dragonspine area as it's the most calming and least frustrating map for me. yeah I die a lot but the puzzles are more fun and easy to locate
i feel a lot of nostalgia listening to this dragonspine playlist. it kinda reminds me of the feeling i got when first exploring dragonspine, and the amount of time i spent exploring everything and completing the world quest attached to the region. the music, the environment, the unique gimmicks and features it provided, and the constant sense of danger when you need to rush towards any source of heat; for someone just coming into the game, dragonspine was a interesting detour from the grassy fields of mondstadt and the tall mountains found in liyue. it tackled exploration in a smaller, more unique environment that feels entirely different from any other place in the game. then i would go around in coop just to help low-level players get through dragonspine, which brought back a lot of what made the place so intriguing and memorable in the first place. it really felt like i was transported back to when i first downloaded the game, like i was experiencing it all for the first time. the calming, desolate music hinting at a much deeper story made you feel lost like you're trying to figure out what lies within the mountain. and with this lofi remix of the ost, listening to the first few seconds reminded me of all the exploring for 8 hours a day, the challenging encounters with frostarm lawachurls and that blizzard fight with all the ruin guards and ruin graders, and the many, many wishes id do every time i got enough primos to get kazuha while reassembling the nail at the peak of the mountain. standing atop the nail, and looking down; seeing the entire mountain from above, as moonlike smile would play. the sense of accomplishment i felt in that moment is unparalleled when it comes to every other region in the game. no other region gives me that same feeling of nostalgia and genuine joy for the experiences i had when climbing dragonspine. i genuinely believe that once everything in genshin has been completed with a full story and with every region fully completed, dragonspine will be the one i remember most.
This will become a nostalgic masterpiece that we will visit once again in a few years, and as we listen to this, we will feel a sudden emptiness welling up inside us. Some of us may cry, some of us may laugh, all in the memories of what we accomplished in our days of joy and turmoil as the Traveler.
i discovered this mix soon after it came out, when i was in high school and struggling with my mental health. i found it really hard to study, but listening to music like this helped put my mind at ease. now, years later, i’m in college and in another rough patch of life. again, i came back here to listen to this music to feel better and try to do my best in my classes :,)

this mix is perfect for studying, it's sorta repetitive so you kinda forget it in the background while concentrating but when you either get distracted or lose focus, you start hearing the beats and rhythms of it once more, calming the mind and gently easing it back to the task at hand. thank you!

istg everytime i hear this soundtrack i get whiplash from first feeling the ballroom music vibes and then flashback horrors of freezing to death while in the middle of a fight with a ton of cryo abyss mages. that was oddly specific. but tyy for making this, at least i can feel a little better listening to this in the middle of the night without hearing the "YAAAA"s out of nowhere.
