You can see Chandramukhi's heart in this scene. I felt she deserved more screen time. Ash is gorgeous no doubt but there was always a coldness to her acting compared to the warmth of Madhuri.

That’s the reason Sanjay leela bhansali waited long to get Madhuri’s answer as she rejected first but wanted only her to play chandermukhi…..Bcz he did Parinda when he was assistant director but when he was going to direct his first movie Khamoshi in 1996 ,Madhuri Dixit was his first choice but she couldn’t do and same hum Dil de chuke sanam time she did the same….finally his dedication towards Madhuri got her in Devdas …. ❤
Madhuri Dixit was deserving film fare best ActressAward but she won supporting…well Same Vayjantimala refused to take film fare supporting Actress award for Devdas in 50s as she said she was one of the main lead so why supporting??…she did the right thing …hats off to legendary Vayjantimala 🙏🙏🙏

The grace, elegance, class, nazakat and ada which was required to portray Chandramukhi only Madhuri could have performed on that she danced her heart out in maar dala and kahe chhed mohe.The story was about dev and paro but I yearned for chandramukhi. MADHURI OVERSHADOWED EVERYONE
