I just started trading 2 years ago. Been reading books and watching a lot of you tubes. This is one of the best presentations I have ever seen. I learned so much. Thank you Christian and Richard!

Great interview!! Having a soft stop loss requires an advanced level (has a touch of art). It also leaves a chance to mess with your emotions if you haven’t mastered discipline.

Great interview. I was surprised he has soft stops instead of hard stops. Using personal discretion goes against most all super investor interviews on their risk management.

I’ve heard of some traders using closing price as their stop. If their stop price is $90 they want to see a close below $90 not just an intraday move down to $90.

Bottom line, its not as difficult as you think it is. If your just starting just watch for a while, notice behavior patterns. Nobody’s right, nobody’s wrong. Everyone wins, everyone loses. I’ve gotten to a point where the only thing I have on my charts is the rsi, I’m considering dumping that to. Indicators can be helpful if you use them sparingly. Think of them as no more than a weather report.
Ive found that if I focus to much on any indicator I end up trading the indicator, not the price action, it’s a mental malfunction. I can control it I focus on not focusing on them but I find it easier just to remove them.
Like everything else in life, don’t overthink it. It’s either there or it’s not.
