- I don't have a device to measure the temperature, but this can melt copper wire. 9.5cm burner length. The function of the reflector is to reduce some of the speed of the oil mist so that the flame at the end of the burner remains / does not escape. To be easily ignited, oil mist bursts must be right in the middle of the burner funnel hole.

Very cool design , making these things small is very hard to do great work .The nozzle position is very important , your device works great and you should try moving the nozzle in and out to see what position burns the best , i often just hold the nozzle in my hand as the device is running and i clamp it as soon as the flame sounds the best . You may find that your burner actually can run better , even just a small push forward or backwards has a very big effect .

Aqui na descrição deste seu Maçarico para Forjas você muito bem afirma: "A função do refletor é reduzir um pouco a velocidade da névoa de óleo para que a chama na extremidade do queimador permaneça/não escape." Você está certo entretanto gostaria de lembrar-lhe que o refletor não só reduz a velocidade da nuvem mas, como a ignição original é feita com o auxílio de um potente maçarico, então todo o corpo do "canhão" tem a sua temperatura aumentada fazendo com que as moléculas da nuvem subdividam-se enquanto a queima do óleo sujo é falicitada. Aí está então, mais uma necessária função do refletor, que é aquela na qual este permite, ao acumular bastante calor e que por conseguinte aquece e subdivide a nuvem de óleo sujo, facilitando a combustão contínua. Very interesting video. Can you explain to me the purpose of the cage welded around your air compressor tank? I have never seen that. To make the tank stronger or to contain metal flying in case of a tank rupture?
You are absolutely right. It's a used freon tank. Too thin to hold 100 psi of air. So, to make it stronger and to prevent an explosion, I added reinforcement using 5mm diameter wire.

Sementara ini burner modifikaai sy masih cukup utk keperluan yg ada (lebur alumunium dan bakar sampah). Nanti dicoba desain yg mas bikin jika perlu panas yg lbh tinggi.

Tidak mas, kuning keputihan saja. Tapi biarpun begitu suhu cukup tinggi, perkiraan lebih dari 1000'C. Bisa melelehkan tembaga, bahkan pernah besi meleleh juga tapi desain yang berbeda.
