I’m 75 years old. Just this morning I finally put my video meditation online and it was so fearful for me to push the post button. and yet I felt so free once I posted it. Then I found your words this evening and it just reinforces all the fears that I went through are common to others do as well. Anyway, thank you so much. 💕
It’s not just the ‘being seen’ bit that worries me, it’s people’s expectations thereafter and feeling like I can’t live up to that that is my real fear ☹️🙃🙃
Be yourself completely, you are doing or saying what you want to say, that’s what matter. Instead for thinking ,can I live up to their expectation, will they get what I am giving them , some will, some want, some will later. What’s matter is do you believe it and like it that what’s matter. Worry what their think is complete waist of energy, who cares. Some people just judge everybody. Maybe they wish they have the chance and guts to do what you will do. Chance? Everybody have a chance, just get up and do it. The rest look after it self.. ops.. sorry this was long. Good luck 👍🦁
As long as you adore and honor the person you choose to be, all those who see you will adore and respect you too. There's no way you can satisfy what everybody else might expect from you, so take each step and allow yourself to be seen because you want to. Do it for you: you deserve the best 😄❤

I just made a huge shift in my life; I left running my father's business and don't know how to explain it to others. It was so clearly the right thing to do but now I am fearful of how I will be seen. I have a business acquaintance I have needed to call back for months now, they make me feel uplifted and feel like the future but, I don't know how to explain my changed situation. My husband literally just told me "you need to do it and, you know you need to do it. We are bringing in new energy." I know he is right. Then I come inside and THIS video appeared. I now realize I am fearful of being seen when I feel so vulnerable. Gosh, I still don't know how I am going to take that step. . .

You just called me on my number 1 issue right now haha. Have been channelling for three years now but mostly just for myself. I'm super interested in how one makes the change from that more introspective, 'cozy' type of communication with the guides to something more public and outward-directed. It is really interesting to hear the parts of this video where you talk about your own progression of your work. You seem like such a confident speaker, so it's interesting to hear about your development towards that, and being helped by people who had themselves gone through putting themselves out there and allowing themselves to be seen, because I am feeling that off of you! And also wondering in what small ways others may have felt it off me and so on. Speaking up is truly an exhilarating ride and I look forward to doing more of it (with a serious dose of nail-biting). My retreating into myself was not so much from the fear to be seen but the fear of trusting people that completely destroyed me. I had to heal inside of myself, what was allowing such people into my vicinity. When I did, it took away this fear of being seen as well. Thank you for your talk 🙏🏻🌹🌹🌹🌹

The one thing that used to get me to back away from spiritual groups, is me not knowing what my "purpose" or what my work is supposed to be. I just don't feel my work is along the lines of traditional "healing" or "spiritual" work. I'm sure the journey is probably just as important, so I will keep doing my best to continue the journey, even when at times it's not so joyful.

Ironically I was asked to speak at a town hall meeting by a woman named Lee. It was such a terrifying experience! But I did grow from it. I know I am supposed to be seen. It has always scared me because I have always been aware of it on some level. Now, 7 months after I put myself out there, I have narrowed my message, learn to push through the fear (for the most part) and I do feel I am ready to be seen fully now. Thank you I keep fearing being seen for teaching yoga , who will say im not doing it quite right, who will get bored, who will compare me.I have done my first zoom last week and felt amazing after i knew that I had done a great job.
Part of mine is working through past life persecution. Been working on being comfortable talking about energy healing and psychic abilities in all areas. Doing healing work and being seen doing it. Being seen connecting with nature. Letting those past parts of myself know I'm safe, that I won't be persecuted anymore for being powerful and that it's OK to be again what I once was.
After my Awakening I just wanted to bust through the gates I just kept charging and charging but I had to learn what Spirit was trying to tell me.... Spirit said I wasn't ready and I needed training and more compassion that much I have learned... I have learned compassion, humility, temperance, plus much more and now I feel I am so ready, as far as people wanting to judge me I could care less If they laugh at me, say or think badly about me... Right now I'm sounded by people who don't like my light but I pray for them and send them love I live alone and cant wait for what happens or where I go next💖🙏💖 thank you for your teachings Lee

Thank you so much, I feel this video came in the perfect moment for me, I've been feeling for so long the pull towards expressing myself to a wider audience. It's scary but everything you said resonated. Being seen is really healing and paradoxically enough it gives self confidence, it gives one strength. Wanting to please others is what I was afraid of, but now I'm realising that putting myself out there and expressing my thoughts is not about others, is about me. If it resonates with people, good, if not, then there might be others people with whom it does. Molding myself to what others want me to be is really besides the whole point. Now I see exposing myself and letting myself be seen as an act of self love.
Thank you for this video! They say that when you hide from criticism you also hide from love. I am a musician and I mostly release recorded material or do live shows where people see me from "afar". My hold up is that I don't like the way I look! I am so incredibly self-conscious with a mild case of facial dysmorphia (no one notices minor or imagined imperfections but me). It is such a shame as I know I have so much more to offer and would actually like to be more in the limelight.

Holy s**t, I needed to hear this. I’ve been terrified to channel publicly because I didn’t want to be seen and judged. Yet, my guides keep pushing me that it’s important that I get over it. Honestly, if I knew how to put a graphic or just a loop of moving colors as the image that people see in my channeling videos, it would go a long way to ease my fear and be like a baby step to public channeling.

About 15 years ago when I was "out there" being seen and heard, daring to speak my ideas and opinions and share my art/music, I was was swept into a fast lane of expectation and pressure to offer more, and as someone who had become a people pleaser as a survival mechanism during childhood, I felt so overwhelmed, so I totally retreated and stopped doing music, and even collaborating with people. For the past 12 years, I've been so depressed and my self confidence has gone down so much because of being in hiding like this. How does one overcome these two issues?: 1) Being overwhelmed by expectations once you're out there being seen/heard, and 2) Finding the courage, energy, and confidence to get back out there after a long pause
@@patod5392 I started doing that... I still slip in to accommodate others at my expense and then of course I berate myself.. But yes I try and convince myself to differentiate what is needed vs what I am doing for the sake of pleasing others ... And now I know why saying no, and sometimes allowing others to draw their opinions of me for their sake is not equal to my reality.... Is what it is... And therefore I don't need to fret when I disagree, say no where it is needed.

I learned about zoom meetings, invited people and had a webinar … still learning how to use the technology and moving forward :) I guess, I'm my own worst judger ? :) so learning to love myself and just gently critique is the way to learn and grow. These are new times to do things different, and learning new ways to connect with the world and share our gifts is going to be getting our creativity up and running to the fullest potential. After my Awakening I just wanted to bust through the gates I just kept charging and charging but I had to learn what Spirit was trying to tell me.... Spirit said I wasn't ready and I needed training and more compassion that much I have learned... I have learned compassion, humility, temperance, plus much more and now I feel I am so ready, as far as people wanting to judge me I could care less If they laugh at me, say or think badly about me... Right now I'm sounded by people who don't like my light but I pray for them and send them love

Thank you so much, I feel this video came in the perfect moment for me, I've been feeling for so long the pull towards expressing myself to a wider audience. It's scary but everything you said resonated. Being seen is really healing and paradoxically enough it gives self confidence, it gives one strength. Wanting to please others is what I was afraid of, but now I'm realising that putting myself out there and expressing my thoughts is not about others, is about me. If it resonates with people, good, if not, then there might be others people with whom it does. Molding myself to what others want me to be is really besides the whole point.
Now I see exposing myself and letting myself be seen as an act of self love.
Thank you for this video! They say that when you hide from criticism you also hide from love. I am a musician and I mostly release recorded material or do live shows where people see me from "afar". My hold up is that I don't like the way I look! I am so incredibly self-conscious with a mild case of facial dysmorphia (no one notices minor or imagined imperfections but me). It is such a shame as I know I have so much more to offer and would actually like to be more in the limelight.

Holy s**t, I needed to hear this. I’ve been terrified to channel publicly because I didn’t want to be seen and judged. Yet, my guides keep pushing me that it’s important that I get over it. Honestly, if I knew how to put a graphic or just a loop of moving colors as the image that people see in my channeling videos, it would go a long way to ease my fear and be like a baby step to public channeling.

This is wonderful. Thank you so much. About 15 years ago when I was "out there" being seen and heard, daring to speak my ideas and opinions and share my art/music, I was was swept into a fast lane of expectation and pressure to offer more, and as someone who had become a people pleaser as a survival mechanism during childhood, I felt so overwhelmed, so I totally retreated and stopped doing music, and even collaborating with people. For the past 12 years, I've been so depressed and my self confidence has gone down so much because of being in hiding like this. How does one overcome these two issues?: 1) Being overwhelmed by expectations once you're out there being seen/heard, and 2) Finding the courage, energy, and confidence to get back out there after a long pause

@@patod5392 I started doing that... I still slip in to accommodate others at my expense and then of course I berate myself.. But yes I try and convince myself to differentiate what is needed vs what I am doing for the sake of pleasing others ... And now I know why saying no, and sometimes allowing others to draw their opinions of me for their sake is not equal to my reality.... Is what it is... And therefore I don't need to fret when I disagree, say no where it is needed.

Thank you Lee... exactly what im going through... my guides had been suggested for a while to make a presence and be seeing, and in 24 hrs. I learned about zoom meetings, invited people and had a webinar … still learning how to use the technology and moving forward :) I guess, I'm my own worst judger ? :) so learning to love myself and just gently critique is the way to learn and grow. Your words were right on. These are new times to do things different, and learning new ways to connect with the world and share our gifts is going to be getting our creativity up and running to the fullest potential.
