Serious question, Br. Mohammed, How many times per day do you pray? If you do that is.
Br. Mohammed, much of what you said does not make any sense at all. And no i'm being genuine here and i could be skeptic too, but in my opinion you probably lost a debate to some liberal online or sam gerrans aside liberalism made a lot of sense to you than the Quran itself. Which is emotional than intellectual.

Knowledge of man is temporary, to transmit it to next generation one need to preserve language, and Brother Brown really made it clear how the old scholars of Islam did this hard work for us. God bless all of them. May God give brother Brown a better insgiht and a better power to explain things

Professor Brown made a mistake between 9:40 and 9:50- he said
    سبيل ربكم
    However the correct words are
    سبيل ربك
    The full verse is below

The question remains: what if the traditions we have are wrong? If a person follows the instructions of the Quran can he be misguided? Establish regular prayers- does the number actually matter or the regularity and sincerity? The Quran states that Allah has "perfected your religion today" so if it's perfected why do we need these madhabs?

It is true Muslim Elite class are westernized and when the West is puritan , they are puritans and when the West is libertine , they are liebertine too . But it is also true that classical Ulemas who actually developed the Shariah , they were also influenced by their surroundings eg Roman , Persian and Bynzentine Culture . They were also product of their time .

    18:35
We have diversified in this Quran all kinds of examples for the people, yet the human being is most argumentative. 18:54
Allah says all kinds of examples for people.
25:30 And the Messenger said: “My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran.”
Who are the Messengers pbuh people?
There is hadith that I've seen so many people use that says the opposite it says people will go by only the Quran and forget the hadiths.
    3:7
He it is Who has revealed the Book to you; some of its verses are decisive, they are the basis of the Book, and others are allegorical; then as for those in whose hearts there is perversity they follow the part of it which is allegorical, seeking to mislead and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation. but none knows its interpretation except Allah, and those who are firmly rooted in knowledge say: We believe in it, it is all from our Lord; and none do mind except those having understanding.
I watched a you tube clip went mention names but he was talking about marry a girl who hadn't had puberty yet. Allah does explain in the Quran the age of marriage. But people with sickness in their hearts make their own interpretation based on hadiths that are sahih.
May Allah protect children from the sickness in some people's hearts
    This world is a test
Or do they have partners who decree for them a system which has not been authorized by God And if it were not for the word already given, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the transgressors will have a painful retribution.
Hadith collectors were not authorized by Allah. The Quran is the best ahadith Allah put it in the Quran.
But Shaytan wishes to lead them astray.” [An-Nisaa’, 4:60]
Shaytan tells you can't understand the Quran you need hadiths. But he wants to take you off the straight path
    Allah says
Quran 41:44] If we made it a non-Arabic Quran they would have said, "Why did it come down in that language?" Whether it is Arabic or non-Arabic, say, "For those who believe, it is a guide and healing. As for those who disbelieve, they will be deaf and blind to it, as if they are being addressed from faraway."
Say: It is Allah Who guides to the truth,” [Yunus, 10:35]
May Allah guide and give us knowledge
I fear Allah on judgement day I won't commit any kind of shirk.

Do you know Arabic? Hadith rejecters often don't know Arabic and make up interpretations that the Arabic never allows.
      J. Brown said it clearly, you go Quran only and there is no Islam. No sect says read the Quran and Quranist only appeared around 120 or so years ago exactly when western academia started to focus on Islam and especially the Hadith.
Forget all this, actual watch the video, he refutation was sound.
      May Allah guide us, Amin.

Everybody knows that the Quran is unchanged and unchangeable, and as such it is a trusted source and a point of agreement among all the muslims. This cannot be said for hadiths. In the past lots and lots of hadiths had been shown to be just lies invented by people. Nowadays the same can happen again through missinterpretation and using them selectively to justify one's own interests. So it is normal that people differ on how to interpret them and how much of them to trust. Between the people that do not trust 90% of them and the people that do not trust 99% of them there is not much difference. But there is a problem when a person or a group of people claim that they have the right interpretation and everyone else is wrong. They just show their ignorance and arrogance.

    • @dashohoxha
      @dashohoxha 7 ปีที่แล้ว

I like very much your translation/interpretation of the opening chapter of the Quran. (You see? We have a common point of agreement.)
      For the rest...
The ignorant and arrogant people always claim that they are right and everyone else is wrong. The true scholars always say: I think that I am right, but I may also be wrong, God is the most knowledgeable.
I prefer to align myself with the true scholars.

    • @dashohoxha
      @dashohoxha 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

***** We mostly agree (although I don't understand the word Fitrah -- Google Translate thinks that it is an Indonesian word).
But I think that the interpretation is a personal thing for everybody, regardless of how he reached at this interpretation (for example listening to what the majority of people/scholars say, or listening to just another person, or thinking with his own mind about the meaning).
I also think that two people may seem to have the same interpretation, but how they actually understand it may be different. I believe that this is a normal thing of life, because everybody is unique and different from the others.
      Peace for you too!

That is why the science of hadith exist, to purify the forged ones and find the genuine haidths, but as here brother Brown clearly expains one can not read the book without knowing the meanings of the words inside of it to know them one must look at a dictironary of some kind and hadith was in the end is the true dictionary for the Quran. We are not living at times of Muhammed SAV, he and everyone around him is dead, but their understanding of the Quran lives through the language of Arabic, meaning of words. Normally if you let a language to evolve in natural manner for example French you will find words like "Laic" which is now known as "Separation of Church and State", but without historical records one really can't know what it trully meant when it was first used. That word was actually a Latin word used by early Catholic Clerics to humiliate nonclerics about their statues before God (at least that was their assumption), look what it means today.
IF the first scholars of the Muslim community were to get a blind eye for it, for example we could either look at the Quran and try to decipher it like Ancient Egyptian Hyrogliphs, the way of hadith prevented that from happening. Today what makes us more unifible than Christians is this tend to understand Quran as every other Muslim on the Earth besides ourselves, because we have one book which prevents us from varieting between eachother too much. While Christians have at least three kind of book (Hebrew, Greek and Latin) than expecially after reformation it multiplied like crazy now their sects are like ant or wasp colonies which ever of them goes to another colony without the cause to become one of them, they kill it.
Today same road to separation and atomization shown us by the Devil, so we can deviate from eachother and destroy ourselves. No matter what the every problem can be solved through effective communication and to do that we need to have common ground to understand eachother. Islam is our language and preservation its language is really imprtant than any other activity (or cihad) about religion because if we loose our common ground on how to communicate eachother.

What do you with false hadeeths , also Shariah cannot be compared to ordinary laws , because laws change , Sunnah cannot be greater than the Quran because Muslims did not make any attempt to preserve the hadeeth , this was done long after the death of Prophet Muhammad

    • @holdshiftt2run308
      @holdshiftt2run308 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

No attempts to preserve ahadith? Yes, actually the salaf (including the sahaba) and the ulema of the khalaf did their best to preserve ahadith. Just because you are ignorant on the issue does not mean we reject it altogether.

The only bright spot in the Quran is Isa El Masih-- Ruh Allah, Kalmat-ullah, Zakiyya ( the sinless one ), the blessed one in this world and the world to come. the one who could alone create life, heal the sick, and raise the dead. He is the holiest prophet of Islam whose name should only adorn the shahada. He is the nearest one to God and the one who is coming back to judge this world. The Quran however fails to recognize the deity of Christ and is a tirade against Christian theology and beliefs.

First they take up the pagan Roman garb to garner acceptance in the Roman World , now they work with the Western Elites and Capitalists to promote Western way of life which the exact opposite of what Jesus taught .

Do you know the tafsir for the term "ruh ullah"? ALlah does not call Isa Kalamat Ulla. Kalamat ullah is the Quran itself. Christ is not a deity. Christ is a prophet. We don't have the concept of "holy prophets." THe prophets are just prophets who are revered and are servants and messengers from Allah.

Well, I think you should look at this before stating our differences this way: th-cam.com/video/YBRy0Z7PyVM/w-d-xo.html
also this might help as well: th-cam.com/video/T_QoPEaULgM/w-d-xo.html but to be sure you should look at Arianism: www.wikiwand.com/en/Arianism
these might let us to talk in a better common ground.
But to specify things we as Muslims believe that trinity is leading many misunderstandings and priestdom of Catholicism and the way that Christians look at sexuality (even in marriage) is giving a heavy burden to one's ego. We believe we have responsibilities to our egos as well (AFter our duties to God and at the same time to our environment we live in) other than that are just details.
