No, it is aluminium. Natrium, Kalium, you got almost ALL the elements wrong. There is no sodium. There is no Potassium, we Dutch named that wrong. And there is NO Alumimum. It is Aliminium. Why on earth would you ignore the Periodic Table? That is pretty stupid. We got global things, and Yanks go their own duh way. What is WRONG with Americans? Just asking! Do something about it. Send kids to good schools, like in the old days. Get the nonsense out of your brains. Please. Ammunimum, yeah right.

Huisman shipbuilders have been designing and constructing large yachts for decades and decades. Great specialists.

Teak decks and all... I met Connie and Onne in Moorea (in maybe 1986?) where we had both dropped hook doing a gentleman's circumnavigation. Really nice guys, I admired them for managing to do this trip in what we all considered "shorthanded" form with just a few hearty souls. I think I remember Flyer as being RED? But colors may fade as fast as memory...

I did a lot of yacht racing in the 80s in Australia. Conny was one of the guys I admired most, along with John Bertrand, Syd Fischer, and Sir James Hardy.

These 2 are “real” yachts, unlike the canterkeels, fantastic plastic composite and electric winches of today.
    Thanks for posting!

Yes, Flyer was so lucky, hitting a rock. What nonsense! They screwed up navigation, they damaged the ship, and they laugh it off.
