Anderson in my opinion should of never forced a trade out of new jersey. He left the Nets team where he could of been the man and then traveled from team to team with stops, with Charlotte, Portland, Boston and Atlanta and just quietly became a role player after he's All-star apperance with New Jersey. Can anyone say Damon Stoudamire?
You got that right- Charles Oakley named power forwards such as Karl Malone as the best he played against. But he said Derrick Coleman was the most talented he had ever come across. People hate Derrick Coleman because he could of been so much better then he was- but he just never had the desire.
Kenny wasn't a Point Guard he was a Point God! He could run a team like know other his impeccable ball handling and creativity allow him to get anywhere on the floor! Had they not broke him and D.C up they would of been a much better tandom then Stockon&Malone
Coleman demanded a trade. I think it's unfair to say the Nets management "broke up the team". He wore out his welcome with a bad work ethic and attitude. Anderson wouldn't resign with the Nets and wanted to test free agency so he was traded. Coleman though I still leave shaking my head. He could of been so much better, if he had a decent work ethic. Not only in basketball skills, but also in basketball IQ. I read Larry brown traded him back to the 76ers, because of Coleman's basketball brain.
Kenny Anderson was a great NBA talent, but just wasn't as good as Payton, Stockton, both Hardaways, nor Jason Kidd, nor Allen Iverson, nor prime T Wolves/Suns Marbury. Kenny Anderson was more on Rod Strickland, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Damon Stoudamire, and Nick Van Exel's level as a player. Mid to late 90s/early 2000s was a great era for NBA point guards because even the role playing point guards were good enough to make the all star team.
If that's the case, then why did Nick Van Exel have a much better career than Kenny Anderson? Nick Van Exel played up until the mid 2000s, kenny Anderson's career ended in the early 2000s.
Tamentonen Hageshi Nick Van Exel's career just ended up lasting longer. He was a thug though. MJ and Kobe for example. MJ was better than Kobe, but Kobe's career lasted longer, you know what I mean?

I think he's better than Nick Van Exel, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and Rod Strickland. Probably Damon Stoudamire as well, but Damon was a much better shooter.

Nick Van Exel had much better overall numbers than Kenny.
I didn't know being a thug affected the way you played on the basketball court any way.
