MicroVlog #5: Thoughts on my EEW Nano 2

Overall, I'm enjoying spinning with my EEW Nano 2. I kind of feel like I'll break it if I add too much force somehow, but it's putting twist in the yarn, and I'll get used to it!

I just got the nano 2 also. I have my leader tied on over the exposed threads on my bobin, there should be one or two left exposed. And I have found it feeds on better when I have the leader end on the break side. I did use crochet cotton for my leader. In the group on facebook I have read where people have had the nano 1 and spun on it daily and the motor never burned out on them but there is the one that tells of burning out her motor. They are rc car motors. Easy to replace. I already had to have a talk with my troll about not making my little nano not go warp factor 15. :)

If you're having problems getting the yarn onto the bobbin to start, try tightening the tension just a little.
The motor should last about 3000 hours.
Your Yarns look amazing. The more you fill your Bobbin you might need to tighten your tension a bit more..

Thanks! I am thinking it's the tension. The two fibers I'm using right now are kind of grippy, and that's probably playing a factor.
