That's a good point. Chili is more satisfying than fries and is in most ways (but not the salt level) healthier too. Mcdonald had the $6 meal deal right before they came out with the $5 meal deal. The $6 was a mcdouble cheese burger w med fries and med drink. The $5 is suppose to be w small drink and small fries. Mcdonald recently has become really strick with giving out sauces. You can now only get them with the nuggets only. 1 package for 4 or 6 nuggets and 2 for larger nugget. How much does it cost them to make the sauce packets. Not too long ago I had gone thru their drive thru and my bill was well over $20. They refused to give me any sauce packets because I had not ordered nuggets. Great PR!!! Bk has changed the size of their whoopers and JR whooper. They are smaller than they use to be. Wendy's last summer had a special you got the Daves classic cheesburger with fries and the strawberry lemonade. I can't remember if it was $5 or $6.
Tried McDonald's last night, and with out my consent, they upgraded my drink to a medium, and charged an additional .79¢. I think most people just pay the total with our doing the math, to see if there are being charged correctly, I'll stick with the biggie bag Wendy's never frozen fresh meat.
What does soda cost in bulk at the grocery? (I haven't had any in decades to improve my health, so I have no idea). I used to typically pay $6 for 24 cans of Coke and Pepsi products at Walmart, etc. for MANY years. So with NO comparison re value, I ONLY ordered water at any restaurant and saved a LOT of money over time with literally NO loss, re enjoyment of the food. Even at 50 cents a can, no comparison re the value. Plus it's not watered down from the grocery.
However, about right re the 25%ish overall food inflation rate (real world, not political whining). Most fast food has gone up MUCH more than that, so in context, actually a good deal if you insist on eating fast food despite all the issues.
Dependent on store, for 2$ more you can get a Large version of the biggie bag, which upsizes the drink and fries. I usually get it with a double stack, spicy nuggets, and use the frosty season pass.

We just need to leave all the wages current and go back to 1980’s prices.
BK Burgers taste better overall.
I stopped eating out due to the prices and my health improved significantly
It could be 50 cents and I’ll still pass
Great review. Thanks.
have them give you a frosty then ask for FREE senior drink. More for money at wendys
Have not ate Burger King since they moved corporate headquarters to CANADA to avoid taxes from U S .
Really? The Burger King headquarters office left the Miami, Florida location😮
They're all pretty much equal to me. I think Wendy's nuggets taste better and at Wendy's you can substitute the drink for a small frosty but their burger is very small. At Burger King their drink is tiny but their whopper Jr is pretty good and has lettuce and tomatoes. So taking everything into account I think they are all pretty equal
Whataburger offers free coffee or drink for seniors. 👍🎉
McDonald's food has gotten terrible
Where I live Arby's has been doing the 4 classic roast beef sandwiches for $10 since at least October 2022. I'm not sure if it's coming down from corporate or not and that's why I didn't say where I live. I've been buying 20 a month since October 2022.
Half a hamburger(size),10 fries , 2 nuggets and a soda cup filled with ice and 2 oz of soda .
That’s the McDonald’s $5.00 deal . What crap ! Would have paid $4.00 when the had $1.00 menu .
Mcdonalds, you only get a small kids drink Size. Lol they liked you, if the drink was a size bigger I would be a happy camper. Lol
The more i watch similar content like this youtube recommends me more like it ???
Chick fila gives a free breakfast on Tuesday mornings but you must ask for it! They wont offer it to you. I think Wendys is 1, McDonalds is 2 and BK is 3.
I like the Wendy's biggie bag. In Texas you get a fully dressed double cheese burger, better tasting nuggs, spicy, fries and a drink.
During the summer all size drinks are a $1.00 at McDonald's.
Yeah I got the burher king one and couldn’t believe the drink size. No thanks.
Last time I was at Burger King = 2010, last time I was at Mcdonalds = 2015, last time I was at Wendys = 30+ years ago ..... eat HEALTHY at home & save money......
How many times are you going to tell us about your large drink from McDonald's???😅
Imagine that, McD's forgot to give you the sauce for your nuggets. I'm sure that's a first.
Yeah that never happens🙄
why wouldn't wendy's just give you a bigger sandwich and just ditch the 4 nuggets? lol
I’m in Los Angeles. The Wendy’s meal is now $7! SEVEN! And I also got a large drink from McDonald’s so who knows what’s going on lol
Thank your legislature...
Whoever throws in a cookie, I’ll go…
The sugar industry and doctors and drug companies love your ilk.
Seems like they all had cookies at one time , and they’ve mostly gotten away from it for some reason, a lot of these icees or whatever they’re called. Try the brown butter cookies at Whole Foods, they’re awesome.
The Wendy's here in temple Pennsylvania has 6 different sandwich options on the 5 dollar deal
The packaging cost more than the food. They buy their meat from dairy farms, whose cows stop producing milk. It's old beef cows. \
coke subsidized the deal so maybe why large drink. Wendys had the 4 for 4 for a decade so 25% increase over 10 years not too bad.
we do not seem to have this in reno
