Ian Bryce from Australian Skeptics tests the claims of water diviners on Australian TV. Dick Smith also makes an appearance. The day was a joint venture by Australian Skeptics and the 9 Network. Permission was given by the 9 Network for Australian Skeptics to use this video as part of the "Great Water Divining DVD". I am a professional water diviner in Australia. In all my 43 years of divining in a fairly dry part of the country where underground water is very hard to find, I have only ever got one call half wrong where the water driller struck sloppy mud instead of flowing water. Every other hole produced flowing water giving me a rate of success of over 99%. The possibility of this happening by chance is an astronomically small decimal number. No critic or skeptic I have ever come across has been able to provide a credible explanation for this prenominal result. So sorry, its not nonsense.
