Hey Nathan, great vid of this install. Removal of factory unit was one hell of a task, I agree. I have been on the Aerpro site but they have a different antenna adaptor listed, You used an Aerpro APA59 with the (blue) phantom power lead? Is this necessary or will the standard APA58 Fakra adaptor (without blue wire) still work?

It should be compatible but depends on what module + unit for how it’ll work
Hey Nathan, I want to get a new head unit for my car (same Ford Kuga 2012) and need some shopping guidance. Do I need a fascia/trim thing and a head unit, or just a head unit. Also, I assume its double din (I am very new to this haha)

The speakers from the back , with this unit ,are not working for me only the front speakers ... is it same here ?
Hi great video, one question please, I have fitted the screen to my 2010 Ford kuga but the stereo has power all the time and it does not turn off with the ignition, what colour wires do I need to connect to ? I want it to turn off when I take the key out the car
Swap the red and yellow wires around

Hey man, great vid. Quick question if you if you have an answer, I have a Kuga the same as this, except it has the nav unit with climate controls all in one unit. It's a blaubpunkt/travelpilot NX unit. If I buy a facia and climate module like the one in the car featured in the video, would the connections be compatible? The nav has stopped working and I would really love to upgrade.

im in the same predicament Ashley. ive bought a 2016 climate control unit thinking it would work straight away but it goes haywire when plugged in. let me know if you manage to get yours sorted. im fitting a Sony DAB 3005
Hi. Did you do it on mk1 2012 S. My radio is tougheter with an air stream asemblemt.
why do you not connect the dab lead to anything I am currently in the process of changing the head unit but I can't find a dab harness anywhere
Did you purchase a DAB head unit? If so it should come with an antenna

What was the stereo system used, also I noticed that when I turn off my car but have anything on connected to my car lighter System it seems to stay on unless manually turned off, any advice on it ? I own a Kuga 2012 to cheers

Hey bro I realy think you should do some of them harness's for sale on eBay we're we can use them on the car control unit...I am only able to find the standard harness....we're they do not let you use the incar control

How do you get it back out again? The Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB professionally fitted into my 2012 Kuga has stopped working, I need to send it back for a replacement and need to take it out without damaging anything. Any help gratefully received. Thanks
