That could also mean that this unnamed Dovakiin is strong enough to make his way past Tsun himself no? Just a crazy idea that came to my head.)

The first thing I did after beating Tsun was trying to attack the Heroes in Sovnvarde to fight them. Unfortunately, the great Toddhead forbade the it and I could do little more than get a “what do you want, tiny elf?” from the greatest heroes of the Nords.
I've dealt with 2 years of not being able to sleep at night to listening to the tribunal of the fudge talking about elder scrolls lore and i couldn't be happier. Love the content keep it up
Welll, Tsun died during Ehlnofey Wars. So technically he was semi-mortal at the time (or maybe even fully mortal just really powerful). I have a theory that he was just a wandering Ehlnofey who became an important figure in Shor's army - that would make him not so different from other souls in Sovngarde (and that doesn't mean he's not a god, by elven standards he absolutely is an ancestor-god for the Nords)

Not true. Wuulfhaarth very well could have been Dragonborn. There's more statements supporting of it than not. He had control of his Thu'um. They were just unnaturally powerful. Anyone can master the thu'um. Only the dragonborn learns them quickly and can master them quickly. The greybeards are perfect examples. Their incredibly powerful and refined voices are insane

Tsun must have been one of the minor Aedra like spirits that lost their immortality when Mundus was being created, I imagine he died defending Lorkhan/Shor in those early days like you said.

Enjoyed the video up until you mentioned the dragonborn emperors in the same vain as the dragonborn heroes. Its been debated extensively that they are different entities; the bloodline of Alessia are dragonborn in the sense that they share dragonBLOOD with Akatosh as part of the covenant to keep oblivion out of Nirn, whereas "dovahkiin" dragonborn have the SOUL of a dragon instead. Thats my only critique.
@@nickstehr3610 Paarthurnax, Durnehviir, Miraak, Greybeards also tells you that you have the soul of a dragon which is why you're able to compete against Alduin and also the reason why miraak wants to kill you to empower himself to escape apocrypha, otherwise that random npc in sovngarde that claim to be DB could have stopped Alduin. There's clearly different tiers of dragonborns. Those with both blood and soul (LDB, Tiber Septim, Miraak ect) and those with just the blood (The offsprings like the random npc in sovngarde, wolfqueen, Palagius the 3rd, Martin septim ect). Also why you really don't see any of the Main named dragonborn heroes in savngarde because they either ascended to godhood or, the golden rule, they returned to akatosh because they are shards of time.
As far as I'm aware one comes with the other. Can't have the blood of a dragon without the soul of one and can't have the soul of one without the blood of one. I could be mistaken though.

Also they have very different views on the world if you read about it :) Just wanted to see the story driven masters do a build on such a anti deadra character :)
Sovngarde is a dream within a dream. It's why tsun is alive despite being dead. The strongest force in mundus is the will. It's probably why Alduin is so astonished he was killed. The dreamers killing the lucid? Probably why in Morrowind Dagoth Ur worshipers are called sleepers

An old soldiers take on Olaf calling the bard a honest opponent. He doesn't mean the bard was telling the truth or that he was right. He is an honest opponent because he fought with honor and no fear. The old saying "The pen is mightier than the sword." He challenged the King with no regards of his own well being. He simply stood his ground no matter the outcome. Therefore he was an honorable opponent.
So sovngarde is basically Valhalla same requirement to enter kinda. In Norse mythology to enter Valhalla you must die a valiant death fighting with a weapon in your hand

With the dragonborn Miraak being killed by Mora, does his soul go to Sovengarde or does it stay in Apocrypha? 2. With Tsun being the guardian of Shor's hall, and Alduin being related to Akatosh/Auriel, isn't this just a continuation of the battle of the old gods against Lorkan? And with that, what does it actually mean when you have two brothers who took opposite sides in that battle Tsun and Stun? Love the content, keep it coming. 2.
1. Miraak's soul was absorbed by the Last Dragonborn. 2. Alduin is not Akatosh, he is the son of Akatosh, an aspect of him you might say. No it's not the continuation because that battle should happen at the begging of each new Kalpa. But Alduin turned away from his duty to end the world, instead he wanted to rule the world and that's why Akatosh sends the Dragonborns after him. Besides Shor himself fought Alduin before when Wulfharth summoned him. Tsun and Sthun weren't on opposite sides of the war, they both were Shield-Thanes of Shor.

I would love if tes 6 either allowed the mantling of many gods or at least one as in Oblivion, or if we were the aspect or “chosen one” form of another god such as shezzarine or dragonborn or nereverine. Obviously at least two of those possibly 3 have been done but what if we got to play as the avatar of a daedra or a magna gi? It would be a cool switch in my opinion. Still love all of the character backstories that don’t overwrite your own head cannon backstory for your character that is present in all recent tes games. Fallout 4 shat on that feeling for me but here’s to hope for the future

I wish they replaced the generic heroes of soverngarde with more NPCs we meet along our journey. It wouldve been great to see it the halls filled with characters we met and knew in life.
I wonder. Since Shor/Lorkhan is the traitor god of the Aedra and was defeated with his heart ripped out, why does he have his own plane in Atherius? And why does Tsun and likely other divines call him chief deity when he was the one who tricked them into giving up their godly power to create Mundus? Wouldn’t a deceiver god be condemned, not honoured? Also, we see Akatosh manifest in both Oblivion and Skyrim (Alduin is his avatar that represents the end of time making him the same being) which indicates that he is the true lead god no? So why is Shor considered the chieftain of the Nordic pantheon and why do the other gods follow him instead of Akatosh? Again, it seems weird for almighty beings that were tricked into giving up their divinity to continue to follow the very one who wronged them in the first place. Just something that got me wondering.
Goliath Xanatos the Aedra were only tricked by Lorkhan in the Merric creation story, who believe the Elves were once Aedra themselves before losing their power because of Lorkhan. In the Nordic creation story, Lorkhan was the one who brought the Aedra together with a plan to create the plane of Mundus, with the Aedra being those who stuck through it until the end, sacrificing much of their power to see their goal complete, with Lorkhan sacrificing the most, giving his body to create Nirn. Just for reference too, Sovngarde is not in Aetherius, it is in Mundus. Aetherius is the homeland of all the Et’Ada; the Aedra, the Daedra and the Magna Ge. All the Aedra’s planes exist within Mundus, though to mortal eyes they appear as planets since they can’t comprehend their full scale. In that sense, Nirn is Lorkhan’s plane of Mundus, just as the Daedra each have their own planes of Oblivion. Akatosh is not the same being as Alduin. They exist separately, though Alduin was created during the creation of Mundus in keeping with Akatosh’s sphere of time to enable a sort of “reset” to time in Mundus and bring on the next cycle. Akatosh appeared in Oblivion to fight Mehrunes Dagon because it was Akatosh who formed the pact of the Dragonborn in order to deny the Daedra access to Nirn. As such it was Akatosh that Martin called upon to uphold the pact by expelling Dagon. As a final point, I find it weird how you act like the Aedra were to almighty to be tricked as if Lorkhan wasn’t one of them and we see Daedra get tricked by mere mortals all the time. Even amongst the Et’Ada as a whole, Lorkhan was seen as one of the most powerful, alongside Magnus, Akatosh and Jyggalag. What is more he was one of the smartest, the only one to understand the truth of finite reality and the Et’Ada’s own mortality as a result due to the movements of Anu and Padome.
Ethan Quirk All stories of the beginning are the same. The elves, men and beast races take the same story of how the universe was created with their own racial text put into it. Regardless, it still doesn’t make sense where we see a literal god in Tsun side with the deity that did in fact betray everyone. Lest you forget, Shor/Lorkhan is the soul of Sithis, the Dread Father and Void Incarnate. He sent Lorkhan to destroy everything so that all creation will return to him, to the void. Soverngard is in Atherius. It’s a part of that plane of existence that differs from Mundus or Oblivion. Scott, Michael and even Camelworks has confirmed this to be the case with both proof and lore evidence. Don’t know where you heard that it’s there, but it’s simply not true. And while yes the Aedra that sacrifices much of their godly divinity did turn to planets and are perpetually trapped within the very realm of existence they helped to create, it doesn’t mean that they all did it willingly since Magnus and many of the Magna Ge fled before they had their godly essence extracted from themselves. Shor being a “good deity” in any form or subtext is contradictory if Magnus, the God of Magic and Architect of Mundus himself would flee from his own creation no? Alduin and Akatosh are one in the same. Along with Auriel, they make up what is essentially the timeline. Auriel, the beginning of all time and creation. Akatosh, the stability of time and present day. Alduin, the destruction of time and its renewal. They are all the same being from different periods of each Kalpa and a reflection of what was, is and what will be. So my point still stands. You find it weird how I call the divines idiots? Because they are, were, however you want to put it. It was clear that Lorkhan wasn’t one of them from the start as he came from beyond creation itself and entered their space. He appeared as a friend but was clearly a deceiver. No matter how it happened, it was their own fault they lost their own power and untold numbers of the Et’Ada lost their lives. But throughout all of this, you never answered my question (though it wasn’t directed at you but given you are the only one who’s been kind enough to reply, I’ll repeat it), why do the gods allow Shor to have his own plane of existence when he’s the traitor god in virtually every mythology outside the Nords, and why is he seen as the chieftain over Akatosh/Alduin when during the Dawn War, they fought each other and Lorkhan lost and had his heart ripped out and shot into Morrowwimd where it forged the Red Mountain? We have definite prove that Lorkhan exists as his heart is in Morrowind and we hear mention of it in both Oblivion and Skyrim. And we also know Shor and Lorkhan are one in the same. So please explain to me, why is he seen as a good god when he’s clearly not?

the idea that there's only one dragonborn at a time is mistaken, i think. i believe that many sleeping dragon born exist that never come across the catalyst that unlocks their potential. do you think if you lost your head at helgen the world would be doomed? or perhaps the woman you meet on the thousand steps to high hrothgar had good reason not to tell you her purposes? or the girl in hackdirt who dreams about parthenax? who left those scales at the shrine nearby?
I love nordic lore, it's just so interesting :0 well, I feel like I'm not a great fan of the slaughter of the snow elves but I'll just put that to the side for now 😂😂

2. Alduin is not Akatosh, he is the son of Akatosh, an aspect of him you might say. No it's not the continuation because that battle should happen at the begging of each new Kalpa. But Alduin turned away from his duty to end the world, instead he wanted to rule the world and that's why Akatosh sends the Dragonborns after him. Besides Shor himself fought Alduin before when Wulfharth summoned him. Tsun and Sthun weren't on opposite sides of the war, they both were Shield-Thanes of Shor.

I actually forgot about the people turned to stone! Lot who was turned into a pillar of salt could relate to their predicament.
I would love if tes 6 either allowed the mantling of many gods or at least one as in Oblivion, or if we were the aspect or “chosen one” form of another god such as shezzarine or dragonborn or nereverine. Obviously at least two of those possibly 3 have been done but what if we got to play as the avatar of a daedra or a magna gi? It would be a cool switch in my opinion. Still love all of the character backstories that don’t overwrite your own head cannon backstory for your character that is present in all recent tes games. Fallout 4 shat on that feeling for me but here’s to hope for the future

I wonder. Since Shor/Lorkhan is the traitor god of the Aedra and was defeated with his heart ripped out, why does he have his own plane in Atherius? And why does Tsun and likely other divines call him chief deity when he was the one who tricked them into giving up their godly power to create Mundus? Wouldn’t a deceiver god be condemned, not honoured? Also, we see Akatosh manifest in both Oblivion and Skyrim (Alduin is his avatar that represents the end of time making him the same being) which indicates that he is the true lead god no? So why is Shor considered the chieftain of the Nordic pantheon and why do the other gods follow him instead of Akatosh?
Again, it seems weird for almighty beings that were tricked into giving up their divinity to continue to follow the very one who wronged them in the first place.
Just something that got me wondering.
Goliath Xanatos the Aedra were only tricked by Lorkhan in the Merric creation story, who believe the Elves were once Aedra themselves before losing their power because of Lorkhan. In the Nordic creation story, Lorkhan was the one who brought the Aedra together with a plan to create the plane of Mundus, with the Aedra being those who stuck through it until the end, sacrificing much of their power to see their goal complete, with Lorkhan sacrificing the most, giving his body to create Nirn.
Just for reference too, Sovngarde is not in Aetherius, it is in Mundus. Aetherius is the homeland of all the Et’Ada; the Aedra, the Daedra and the Magna Ge. All the Aedra’s planes exist within Mundus, though to mortal eyes they appear as planets since they can’t comprehend their full scale. In that sense, Nirn is Lorkhan’s plane of Mundus, just as the Daedra each have their own planes of Oblivion.
Akatosh is not the same being as Alduin. They exist separately, though Alduin was created during the creation of Mundus in keeping with Akatosh’s sphere of time to enable a sort of “reset” to time in Mundus and bring on the next cycle. Akatosh appeared in Oblivion to fight Mehrunes Dagon because it was Akatosh who formed the pact of the Dragonborn in order to deny the Daedra access to Nirn. As such it was Akatosh that Martin called upon to uphold the pact by expelling Dagon.
As a final point, I find it weird how you act like the Aedra were to almighty to be tricked as if Lorkhan wasn’t one of them and we see Daedra get tricked by mere mortals all the time. Even amongst the Et’Ada as a whole, Lorkhan was seen as one of the most powerful, alongside Magnus, Akatosh and Jyggalag. What is more he was one of the smartest, the only one to understand the truth of finite reality and the Et’Ada’s own mortality as a result due to the movements of Anu and Padome.
Ethan Quirk All stories of the beginning are the same. The elves, men and beast races take the same story of how the universe was created with their own racial text put into it. Regardless, it still doesn’t make sense where we see a literal god in Tsun side with the deity that did in fact betray everyone. Lest you forget, Shor/Lorkhan is the soul of Sithis, the Dread Father and Void Incarnate. He sent Lorkhan to destroy everything so that all creation will return to him, to the void.
Soverngard is in Atherius. It’s a part of that plane of existence that differs from Mundus or Oblivion. Scott, Michael and even Camelworks has confirmed this to be the case with both proof and lore evidence. Don’t know where you heard that it’s there, but it’s simply not true. And while yes the Aedra that sacrifices much of their godly divinity did turn to planets and are perpetually trapped within the very realm of existence they helped to create, it doesn’t mean that they all did it willingly since Magnus and many of the Magna Ge fled before they had their godly essence extracted from themselves. Shor being a “good deity” in any form or subtext is contradictory if Magnus, the God of Magic and Architect of Mundus himself would flee from his own creation no?
Alduin and Akatosh are one in the same. Along with Auriel, they make up what is essentially the timeline. Auriel, the beginning of all time and creation. Akatosh, the stability of time and present day. Alduin, the destruction of time and its renewal. They are all the same being from different periods of each Kalpa and a reflection of what was, is and what will be. So my point still stands.

But throughout all of this, you never answered my question (though it wasn’t directed at you but given you are the only one who’s been kind enough to reply, I’ll repeat it), why do the gods allow Shor to have his own plane of existence when he’s the traitor god in virtually every mythology outside the Nords, and why is he seen as the chieftain over Akatosh/Alduin when during the Dawn War, they fought each other and Lorkhan lost and had his heart ripped out and shot into Morrowwimd where it forged the Red Mountain? We have definite prove that Lorkhan exists as his heart is in Morrowind and we hear mention of it in both Oblivion and Skyrim. And we also know Shor and Lorkhan are one in the same. So please explain to me, why is he seen as a good god when he’s clearly not?
