did you get the footage of the finals in the open singles? With xiang zhang jing and Eugene Wang?? If so, when do you think it will be posted, really looking forward to seeing it. Thanks!
Nikhil going from up 6-2 to down 6-8 in the 5th was completely unexpected. This match it felt like it was he was trying to play so much of this feeling / placement game when it seems like he was better in the open game anyways. Congrats to Ronald though, a very well played match!
2700 player not doing a single flip on those serves… literally pushed every ball? I mean you’re talking about a national champion table tennis player?? Get some EUROPO training🫠
Wow, epic match! Seem like 75 percent of Ronald's serves were to Nikhil's wide forehand. Often times Nikhil would move to that side waiting for the serve. But in the 5th set, Ronald changed his pattern, with different placements and the serves seem a little lower to me which makes it harder to return. I think this helped him come back along with the backhand rally to win! Congrats to Ronald Lee on a well-played match! Loved his ripping backhand :)
@@TripodianTT well he's been consistently 2350 throughout his tournament history, plays a lot of tournaments, and in 2023 is in the 22s. Although, there's a chance of sandbagging or he was sick when lost to a 1700...
haha he got Argentinian soccer short on this match. First time I trained with him told me "you look like Mascherano" haha, I'm Ezequiel btw@@LosAngelesTableTennis
Keep the good work on the channel, love watching these matches! Gonna play my first tournament next Sat / Sunday at SMC / LATTA, time to break the mental barrier haha @@LosAngelesTableTennis

I jokingly meant that we're not in the same universe. But yes, the only way we can communicate is through google translate. And he's a pretty private person anyways.
@@LosAngelesTableTennis wait he actually can't speak English ? his name can't actually be Ronald right ?? like he just chose a random name. Apart from the obvious Ronald McDonald I don't know any Ronald's lol
Ronald skills is up there, he just needs to train more. Though it's tough being a coach.

Hey! yes I have the footage, but I can't tell you yet when that will be posted. Sorry, I wish I could offer more clarity here.
Thanks for the vid!
Some nice tactics by Lee on game 5. Soft push to the middle to tempt the opponent then counter the weak loop to the backhand corner.

It's a huge win for him and he deserved it, he played with a lot of heart in this match and I don't think I've ever heard him Cho before this match.
All about the serves! Very tactical. Great game!
4 points in the critical game just off the power of long service!
Ozzie, thanks for this upload!
For sure! Now run your ass back to LATTA!
The video came out awesome, Austin!
Thanks Pedro!
no way this guy is 2200
He chose a good day to put his 2700 pants on.
