I love the slow lore buildup of the narrator. We know he’s a Methuselah by technical definition now, a childe of Baba Yaga, calling Absimilliard Grandsire.
My take is that the Bonsam's elder that seeks to devour them is Absimiliars himself. Unlike the European Nosferatu, who transitioned from lone-hunter boogeymen into underground, communal societies, the Bonsam stuck to their lone hunter ways. Abombwé (whose level 3 power hides them from even astral scrying) offers another layer of protection from their ravenous ancestor. Also, given the First City's hypothetical location (somewhere in the Middle East), from their perspective, they'd have been unaware of Zillah and Caine, and only known Absimiliard to be a Godlike hunter imbued with primal darkness. As an aside, my headcannon to explain why the Bonsam have a target painted on their backs, while the Guruhi (seemingly) don't is that the latter are in part descended from Yima. They were a quasi mythological Nosferatu who was rumored to have been favored by Caine given a reprieve from the regular Nosferatu curse. This *might* explain why the Guruhi have variable appearence that reflects their inner selves and possess Presence rather than Obfuscate. If Absimiliard's delusion is about getting Caine to reverse the curse by munching all his bastards, I doubt he'd go after the descendants of a favored great-grandchilder, so they get a (partial?) pass. I mention in part because of the whole double-bloodline split, with one side watching over the other and judging it; might be a distorted version of a weird purity test to make sure they're worthy. Finally, if V20 Dark Ages offers us a clue, the Nosferatu curse may also a weakened version of what Absimiliard and the Niktuku (his loyal descendants and co-conspirators in the killing of the 2ns generation) are stuck with, perhaps a consequence of them breaking the blood bond. Their affliction starts off as non-existent but slowly twists their form, and they *technically* get WORSE over time than the Sewer Rats, as their appearance goes into the negatives/transitions into the Abhorrence mechanic while they grow physically stronger. The Nosferatu meanwhile get warped all at once, then stay that way.
My theory is the Bonsam descend from the Nosferatu main bloodline, but like the Premescine childer of Giovanni, the beastly Legacies maintain archaic characteristics more akin to their Antediluvian and the Niktucku.
Perfect Job! I like it , probably after my exams ı will listen all your contents. I love the Ebony Kingdom and exactly thats why :D This land like forgetten realms in WoD . Everything is more suspicious n puzzler. Again good job . Maybe second video can be necromancers like Impundullu or others or together.
The Bonsam have to be my favorite legacy/bloodline in vtm by far, they are pretty much a fusion of the Nosferatu and Gangrel which are already in my top 3 clans. Its a shame that the Bonsam are probably extinct or close to it, in modern nights. In my games though, I do like the idea that a few Bonsam were able to evade thier progenitor and were able to flee to the Caribbean in the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade. As someone who is of Jamaican descent, thier is a lot of similarities the Bonsam share to creatures in our folklore, due our culture having its origins in West Africa. So I could definitely see a scenario similar to the Serpents of Light in Haiti and thier being a few Bonsam in Jamaica or other parts of the Caribbean. Which apart from Haiti, we don't really get a lot of info on what's going on in that area of the world WoD anyway.
Research Outpost to Site, Research Outpost to Site. Confirming that observation has been made with an instance of 7399, believed to be subclass Hephaestus, has been established. Will monitor until further orders have arrived.

An interesting theory...
I love this channel! Who would have thought that Stewie Griffin is a Nosferatu elder.

Don't worry, all the Laibon are going to be discussed, so you have something to look forward too after your exams.
I'm curious about your views on the werespiders.

Remember, never let the stale, spongy cake of life
keep you from getting to the tasty cream filling of success.
For more on the Nagloper in actual folklore see the film Dust Devil. It is life changing.

Very interesting episode are you running out of vtm lore?
