As a youngster I also pretended to have a rook, but I started with White. To increase the tension in the café I played with money and said "Contra" when I was on the attack. I played a style of play like the one shown here very often. I have to say that I'm more impressed by the brilliant Morphy games. Against much worse players you can give up a piece in the starting position. That works because the psychology of the weaker player often works out in attacks. Because as soon as an opponent who knows that he is playing much worse goes on the attack, he usually tries to defend anxiously instead of boldly giving back material at the right moment. This defensive defence then usually improves the position of the white player with the piece advantage so much that much worse players put themselves in a bad position. I have generally noticed that when there is a greater disparity in strength between chess players, the weaker player does not take advantage of his opportunities to launch counter-attacks. Chess is also so much psychology
I suggest that you keep the format as it is. It means a great deal to have a face behind the voice and the audio, if it is slightly inferior, it’s not the important thing. Love and peace. Tim
Stick with the T shirt style. Much better. You don't need a shirt and tie to be a great player or commentator. Much more relaxed and will appeal to a younger and wider audience which you deserve. Bravo yet again 👏

In addition to the raw data I saw an article about this particular hot air mass over Italy & the Balkans. So we've narrowed our Manhunt down to a dozen countries (I wouldn't rule out Italy). We shall find our reticent Professor!

I'm a science person as well. 2. Agreed that our dear Professor is not FROM Italy. His accent seems to be from one of the Adriatic countries, or northward to Hungary. Professor is a Cosmopolite ("Man-of-the-World"), so he has no doubt moved around. I recently stumbled onto some evidence that he may have some connection to the fashion industry, so Professor COULD be living in the Milan vicinity. The mystery continues! 3. Having been to Rome, Florence & Venice myself, I can attest to the presence of mosquitoes in Italy!
