Very clever and a lovely creation of how I remember the line at around 1962. It has filled in a few gaps which I do not remember. My last memories of it are around 1974 in Rhydamwyn seeing wagons loaded with large pipes in preparation for building of the oil pipeline from Stanlow to Anglesey along much of the old line.
Brilliantly done and very realistic. It matches all the photos and videos I have seen, and using the Ivatt 2-6-2T steam engine was a clever touch which I believe was shedded locally between 1952 and 62.
This was marvelous! I only have hazy memories of this line in it's glory days. It was fantastic to travel with it again all the way. Well done. Cheers.
Loved this, as I often stayed with mhy grandparents at pine ridge cottage just down the road from star crossing station, traveled on that train many times. Thanks for the memories.
Wonderful video, this looks like a great route very nicely detailed. Will have to take a look at it. This video features my two favourite inventions, steam engines and pipe organs!
Absolutely fantastic, well done. I'd love to see one along the old Mold Railway Company route from Mold Junction at Saltney, through Kinnerton to Mold. :-)
Very nice piece of work Vic. Fascinating for me as I spent 10 years creating the same thing on the Trainz railway simulator (the result is free to download). I'm wondering which simulator you've used - the differences and similarities are fascinating.
Very good. thank you for your work and suing the music from the local choirs, really adds to the creation. Can I ask what programme you used to create the train route and scenery? Is it Transport Fever 2 with a lot of mods or another similar programme? Whatever you have used, you are clearly a master at it and to be commended.
Tidy work mate, 👏
Like deployed 👍
Great stuff I remember the days of steam .The Welsh choir music was a perfect choice to go with the video .👍

The accuracy of this video is amazing as a person who travelled on it quite few times excellent 👍

Excellent to see, I can spot my oldhouse at Melin y Wern near Nannerch. Thanks for doing this.
I currently live next to track about 1 mile east in Old Pandy Mill at Ddol, sadly not shown but loved every minute.
Amazing recreation
Brilliant! Just as how I imagined it, although all I remember is the empty balast.

TS2020...have a look for Recreating Britain's Lost Routes on facebook
Wonderful - I really enjoyed watching this. But ..... wasn’t it single track other than in the stations? Tim from Pantymwyn
Hello Tim, I'm pretty sure it was double track all the way but it was eventually reduced to single from Bodfari ( or therabouts) to Denbigh.
@@Brougham2007 Yes that sounds like I remember it.
